Why, hello there...

The night began pressing in on the last bit of sanity Aspen had left. Over the previous four hours, Stiles, Isaac, Sheriff Stilinski, and Aspen crowded into his office, devising theories and connecting dots to things that were blurred in Jackson's investigation. Though Sheriff Stilinksi was still thrown out of the supernatural loop, they were still able to work around that complication. Stiles passed Isaac poor glares the whole night, making Aspen whack him with anything in her hand, whether it be a file, pencil, paper clips, or any office supply that was in her reach. But she couldn't hold in a snort when Isaac would whisper absolutely nothing in her ear, acting as if he was talking about Stiles just to get a rile out of him. Of course, it worked, making Stiles' ears go red with annoyance.
"I heard that!" He would snap.
'What did I say?" Isaac would ask in mock innocence as he helped Sheriff Stilinski pin up another clue to the board. Stiles merely glares, poking the inside of his cheek with his tongue before aggressively drinking his soda.
The four grew hungry, and Stiles picked up takeout. Noah was sad to see his son care more about his diet than he did. A frown touched his lips, seeing a veggie burger that went against his appetite. Stiles commented about his health and passed him his side of veggies. While the four discussed more about the investigation and Stiles stayed distracted with pointing things out on the crime board, Aspen would covertly slide Noah her fries while Isaac swiped his cheeseburger for Noah's veggie. Stiles didn't seem to notice his father's upbeat mood after eating against his diet.
Playing detective was fun, especially when they had everything laid out in front of them. Stiles was in his element, and for once, Aspen and Isaac were working together as opposed to apart. The night was too long to hold on to fleeting conversation, so Aspen made a mental list in her head of everything that held importance to the investigation.
A, Lahey's murder wasn't connected, B, the ages of the murders were coincidental considering Lahey was nowhere near 24, or C, Isaac's older brother, now deceased, named Camden. He was 24.
All four victims were in the same class in beacon hills. They all had the same chemistry teacher, Harris.
All was left to assume which students were next on the murder's hitlist.
Isaac's father was the first murderer, and Aspen felt foolish for not realizing the subject would pop up this evening. But with the mention of Isaac's deceased brother Camden, the room's atmosphere dimmed. Isaac rarely talked about it, and when he did, the discussion was cut off in exchange for something more light. Seeing as Isaac's mood shifted drastically, Aspen called in for the night and asked Isaac to accompany her to her house to pick up fresh clothes. She would be staying at Stiles' house tonight and told them she would see them at home.
