As the marbles fell from the air to the bed, Aspen opened her mouth to say something, but given how things were appearing at the moment, she closed her mouth in a tight line. She had one job. And that was to keep her secret for as long as possible until she figured it out.

Isaac stared at her with wide eyes, and his lips parted as he continuously glanced at the marble snd back at Aspen's hands. Aspen was ready to chase after him if he decided to run away. However, she wouldn't blame him; she would have done the same thing if the position were vice versa.

"It's uh-...not what it looks like," Aspen said cautiously as she put her hands up only to have Isaac flinch, afraid she wouldn't blast him with whatever she was doing earlier. Seeing this, Aspen quickly folded her hands in her lap.

"So...s-so you didn't just...make those marbles float?" Isaac's words were shaken as he gripped the door frame before pointing toward the marbles with his other hand.

"Can I just say yes and avoid further questions?"

"Not unless you say there was something in those brownies."

"Than yes, there was something in the brownies."

"Are you just saying that to avoid further questions?"

"Yes."

Isaac appeared to be on the verge of a panic attack when he noticed one of the marbles floating from behind her. He glanced down at her hands and saw her fumbling with her fingers.

"Uh um, A-Aspen, t-the marble. Right there," Isaac stuttered as he rose a shaking hand to point behind Aspen.

She furrowed her brows as she looked up to see a marble floating above her. Realizing the fumbling had caused the elevation, she tore them apart, the marble landing in front of her.

"What the hell was that!?" Isaac's calm composure was replaced with one of pure shock, something Aspen dreaded witnessing. Aspen quickly got to her feet, grabbing Issac by the wrist to yank him inside before slamming the door shut. Hopefully, her grandfather wouldn't have any inquires from the commotion.

Slowing turning around, Aspen sighed deeply, thinking of a way of explaining herself in the most sain way possible.

"Please, Isaac, calm down," Aspen began watching as Isaac stared at her, keeping a suitable length away across the room.

"You would be surprised when I say this is me being as calm as possible," Isaac said, raking a hand through his hair.

"Okay okay before you think I'm some sort of witch-"

"You're not?"

"No! I'm not a witch, that's crazy,"

Isaac gave her a look as he gawked his head toward her.
