~Alan's POV~

"Royal Colors on standby!" The staff of The Show called out.

"Cheer time!" Chase exclaimed throwing his hand out first. "I've missed this!"

Ricky and Gyutae put their hands out next, on top of Chase's to demonstrate. The rest of us followed.

"But who is going to give the speech?" BunBun asked. "You guys do do speeches right?"

"Yes, we do." Gyutae snickered.

"And it should be Gyutae hyung." Ricky spoke. "He's the oldest member who isn't debuting today. Leader material."

"Okay, slow down." Gyutae didn't like the male's choice of words. "There are no leaders in RC."

"I thought James was the leader." Minwoo said, clearly looking confused.

"But he's not here, therefore no leader." Gyutae said.

"Then who will cheer if not you?" Ricky asked Gyutae.

"I'll do it." I spoke up.

Everyone looked at me, probably shocked that I volunteered since I'm on the younger side of the members and new to the debut.

"You want to, Alan?" Gyutae asked me.

"Sure." I nodded. "It'll be fun."

"Alright then, if you don't want to just let me know." Gyutae comforted me.

"That's okay." I smiled before gathering my words. "Here we are, eight months since our last comeback and nine out of twelve of us haven't debuted before. We didn't get much practice but we practiced hard and got good reviews on our music video. Let's show our fans what they missed and show them what us newbies have to offer. Royal Colors..."

"Fighting!" We all shouted, throwing our hands in different directions.

"Okay, we'll have to work on that." Gyutae snickered, referring to the break off.

"Good cheer Alan!" BunBun exclaimed as we all headed to the stage stairs.

"Yeah." Chase agreed. "But careful or people might consider you a leader."

I just snickered without saying anything, even though the idea doesn't sound bad to me. I've always been told I have leader qualities but I wouldn't strip that away from anybody so I'll keep quiet and just go my way.

Within a few seconds, we were given our cue to head on stage. We had a lot of quiet and shy members debuting for the first time whom seemed nervous but as soon as they got on that stage, I could tell they felt they were where they belonged, and they definitely were. As was I. I was so happy to have debuted.

I was on my way back from the bathroom, looking at every artist's dressing room out of curiosity, when I saw a name that made me light up. I checked the time before deciding to stop by and knock on the door. Seconds later, the door opened to a familiar friend.
