Personality: Dahee is very kind and caring, full of life and respectful to everyone and everything. She cares a lot about other people and most of her decisions result in the happiness for others at the risk of her own happiness. Dahee is a very humble person who wants to be her own person while also making everyone else happy. She often always knows what to say in any given situation making her a great advice giver and overall a good mom friend.
Background: Dahee grew up with her parents, older brother Myungsoo, and twin sister, Dahyun. She had a very happy childhood as she always had a lot of friends and was very close to her twin. While both of them were musically talented, Dahyun was more interested in music than Dahee. When Dahyun performed at a youth dance festival, she was scouted by a JYP agent but didn't want to go without Dahee so she begged Dahee to audition with her. Not wanting to let her sister down, Dahee agreed and to Dahee's surprise, they both passed the audition in 2012. However, Dahee gave little effort to her training. Dahyun went on to debut in TWICE and Dahee continued training while also working a cafe job on the side. Dahee was given multiple opportunities to debut in JYP but she denied every chance because she didn't want to be seen as the same as her sister. After 10 years of uncertainty, Dahee decided not to renew her contract for JYP. She continued working part time jobs but after a year she still didn't seem happy. Somewhat missing singing, Dahee decided to audition for Pinky Entertainment after Dahyun recommended it. Dahee passed and was put into RC not long after.
