Personality: Jaesung is a very quiet, secretive person. He doesn't like sharing much about himself with anyone. Only his few friends he's had since childhood know his more private things. Jaesung comes off as a very cold person because of how quiet he is, but he can be caring if he's close enough with the person and it's a more private situation. He's got a very chic image but he's been told many times it's not really an image, it's just who he is. Jaesung rarely shows how he's feeling, and will bottle up his emotions most of the time, not wanting to burden others while also being too secretive to explain why he's feeling the way he is. He's very shy around new people, too, and it takes him a long time to talk with someone for more than a few words.
Background: Jaesung was born in Jeju, South Korea on June 19, 2000 but moved to Japan with his family when he was 2. He has two older sisters and one younger brother who are all much louder and outgoing than Jaesung. His siblings typically were hanging around each other, not purposely leaving him out but him forcing them to by never accepting their offers to spend time together or talk about what was going on in their lives. At about 7 years old, Jaesung began dancing, finding his passion in it. His siblings never knew he danced until about a month before he was scouted at 14 years old. He decided to take the opportunity, moving back to South Korea after getting into a big fight with his oldest sister and having his other sister and brother side with her over him becoming an idol. He hasn't talked with them since, although he occasionally will talk with his parents. Jaesung originally trained under JYP, then Brand New Music, and was almost apart of Produce 101 Season 2 but left the company and went to Pinky before that happened.
