Personality: Irene is a very shy, kind, intelligent, modest, and dependable person. She is known to be kind to everyone no matter what. Irene is pretty introverted and likes to be in quiet places away from big crowded places. Even though she tries to make herself a bit more extroverted she gets scared since she doesn't like getting too much attention. She often thinks about what others might think of her which makes her a bit self conscious of herself. When she's performing on stage, Irene forgets about everything and focuses on making a good performance. On stage, she is charismatic and tries to be herself but when she's on a show or out of the public's eye she is shy, kind, and humble. At first Irene is introverted and generous but once you get to know her she is funny, a bit mischievous, easygoing, hardworking, sensitive to criticism, honest, loyal, and fun to be around.
Background: Irene was born in Los Angeles, California, on September 17, 2002 two minutes after her twin brother Alan. As a child, Irene was always a good student and focused on other things like piano, soccer, and her studies. When Irene turned 11 she got into rap and was interested in learning. After a couple of months of practicing and learning how to rap, she made her own music and started to write lyrics. Since Irene didn't know what her family would say about her learning rap she kept it to herself and only told her twin Alan since they're inseparable. Alan wanted her to pursue into music since he knew that she would succeed if she went on the path of being a musician, so he would take videos of her doing covers of different songs and show them to her parents. After Irene figured out that Alan told her parents she told them and her other siblings the truth. They were all supportive at the end so shortly after she auditioned for YG at the age of 12. She made it in and started training there for about 3 years until she decided to leave. Irene then came back to LA and took a break from training for a couple of months. After a couple of months she got scouted by Pinky Entertainment and started training once again.
