~James's POV~

I was enjoying myself at the snack table where the desserts had been brought out. There was one specific dessert that I couldn't stop eating, when Scout came over.

"Do you like them?" She asked.

"Yes, I can't stop eating them." I said through a mouth full.

"Good, that makes me happy." She smiled.

I stopped chewing and my eyes grew wide. "Wait, did you make these?"

She giggled as she nodded.

"Scout, these are so good!" I exclaimed. "What are they?"

"They are chocolate ganache tartlets, but I made them with dark chocolate because I know that's your favorite." She explained.

I couldn't help but smile. The fact that she remembered the little details about me made me happy.

"It is, thank you." I said. "You seriously have a talent in baking."

"And I hear you have a talent in cooking." She said, leaning against the table. "How come I've never known this?"

I snickered. "I guess I've never had a reason to cook for you."

"Well, can we maybe change that?" She asked, biting her lip as if she was nervous about something.

I couldn't help but blush and grin as to what it was sounding like she was asking me.

"Scout." I said, grinning wide to embarrass her. "Are you asking me on a date right now?"

She rubbed the back of her head as she looked down. "I mean...it doesn't have to be if you aren't interested."

"Who said I wasn't interested?" I raised a brow.

She looked up at me, her cheeks growing a tint of red. "So is that a yes?"

"Only if you get to make me dessert, too." I told her.

She smiled and nodded. "I'd love to."

"Good." I said, then stuffed another tartlet in my mouth. "Because these things are good."

She snickered and enjoyed one herself. We continued talking and hanging out. It was my birthday and her asking me out felt like a birthday present. I had liked Scout for a while but didn't want to start anything due to our careers, but with all these other romances flourishing and the fact that neither of us might not promote for a while, I figured I'd give it a shot. Or rather, I figured I'd say yes to her giving it a shot.

~Barae's POV~

We were all sitting around the practice room, talking with one another. I was sitting with Chewy and Gyutae on one side of me and Hanwoo on the other.

"So, do you think this is going to actually be a member ceremony or a sudden news attack again?" Hanwoo joked with me.

"Members I would assume." I shrugged. "What news could there be?"

Hanwoo shrugged and we continued talking about random stuff when the doors opened, causing the room to go quiet. Walking in was Woohyun with three other males and lastly entered a female, who made my body straighten up.
