Evan's time was coming to an end.
Evan tried to beg his parents to let him stay longer, but similarly to Carey Martin, they said no. They wanted to spend some time with him before he leaves for the S.S Tipton, which was completely understandable.
His parents booked a hotel room at the Tipton Hotel in New York. They were able to get employees discounts for working at the Boston location.
Jack tried to convince them to stay with him at his house, but they kindly turned down his offer.
Matt remembered her met Evan's parents once at Thanksgiving but it was just for a couple of hours and it's something he nearly forgot. Evan ended up spending packing his things and staying at the hotel with his parents. After spending all these weeks with Jack, his parents felt bad if they left Evan stay a few days longer, which was a major factor to why they did not want to stay at Jack's house for a few days.
Matt, Jack, and their friends spent Evan's last few days with him and making sure to make every second count.
Evan and his parents came over to the Taylor household. Evan's parents were going to spend the day with Harrison while Matt, Jack, Evan and their friends hung out together.
They say in the living room.
Harrison just finished making himself and Evan's parents coffee and brought them over to the living room.
He set the tray down on the coffee table and Eleanor Meyers, Evan's mother, thanked Harrison and leaned forward and picked up the coffee mug.
"You know," Joe Meyers, Evan's dad, said, "if you ever come to Boston, just give us a call. We can give you a discount."
"Aren't you going to Boston soon for work related business, Dad?" Rose asked her father.
"Oh, right," Harrison said.
"You are?" Evan said, a small smile appeared on his face.
"Yeah," Harrison said.
"What's the work for?"
"Uh, it's for the mechanic store," Harrison said. "We're planning on expanding to Boston."
"Are Matt and Rose coming with you?" Jack asked.
"I don't know," Harrison admitted. "Do you want to come with me?"
"Don't you need someone to stay behind to make sure everything is running smoothly?" Matt asked.
"I've got it covered," Jack quickly offered.
"Oh, no, no, no," Harrison said. "I've got Max to make sure everything running smoothly."
Max Espenazo was one of Harrison's best mechanics.
She has worked for the mechanic store since Matt was eleven years old and was able to work her way up to be Harrison's right-hand person. If there was ever a day when Harrison couldn't work for whatever reason, Max was in charge. Harrison trusted everyone working at the mechanic store, but Max is the go-to person for everyone.
