As a gift, Harrison and Rose bought Matt a briefcase with his initials, MT, engraved in it.

He's been struggling to store everything he got in a specific place.

He used a tiny box and cast a spell to hold everything, but it was a struggle.

The briefcase was a lifesaver. He moved everything from the box to the briefcase.

Rose helped with creating different habitats for the magical creatures that Matt was going to study and write about with Matt.

There was one night when he and Jack were out in a forest when they discovered a tree-dwelling creature. It was as thin and looked like it can break as easily as a twig. They looked like twigs but with arms, legs, eyes, and a mouth. They had two leaves on the top of their heads.

From what Matt has studied, they ate leaves and lived in trees.

Matt has been wanting to find out and bring it home and now he had an opportunity.

Most of them ran away except for four. The four that stayed looked at them curiously. One of the four took a few steps toward Matt.

"Hey, buddy," Matt said.

He knew that he should extend his hand to the tiny creature to let the tiny creature approach him and smell him.

"What -?" Jack began.

"Shh."

The tiny tree dweller examined his hand. It stared examining Matt's fingers and crawling all over it.

Matt knew he gained the tiny creatures' trust when she turned to the three that were curious and extended her twiggy hand to them.

The three approached Matt and did the same thing to Matt. Matt picked the four of them up.

The first one that approached him, which he knew was a girl, crawled up to his shoulder and settled herself up there.

The other three stayed on his hands.

"What do we do now?" Jack asked.

"Take them home," Matt said. "Hold him," he held up his right hand to let Jack hold the one holding onto Matt on his right hand.

Jack held his hand out underneath Matt's hand.

The tiny creature looked at Matt and tilted his head.

"It's okay," Matt said. "You can trust Jack. He's my buddy."

The tiny creature dropped to Jack's hand and let him carry him back to Matt's house.

They greeted Harrison and Rose when they got to the house.

They rushed up to Matt's bedroom.

Harrison and Rose followed Matt and Jack to Matt's bedroom to see what was going on.

"We found these little guys," Jack said, showing Harrison and Rose the little tree-dwelling creature.

The creature looked up at Harrison and Rose curiously.

"They're so adorable," Rose said, leveling with the one Jack was holding.

Matt opened his briefcase and climbed down the stairs into it.

Harrison, Rose, and Jack followed him into the briefcase.

It was very spacious. It had more than enough space to hold at least three different households.

Knowing that he was going to be able to find these tree dwellers, Matt, with his family's help, created a habit for them. They created a very, very tiny forest for the little tree dwellers to make them feel more at home.
