♡︎ Billie ♡︎

Frankie held on tightly to my hand as we walked into the store, "Wook!" I cheer pointing to the cute baby blue teddy bear onesie on the rack.

"Let me look for your size, darling" Frankie says

"Let me look for your size, darling" Frankie says.

While she does that I look at all the other clothes, being sure to stay close so I don't lose her again. I can't help but pick up a few things and tossing them in the cart.

A pack of colorful hair bows and ribbons caught my attention, immediately I grabbed it to show Frankie.

"Fwankie I has dis?" I hang her the bows.

"You can have anything you want Bil as long as we find you some more outfits and some more comfort items, okay?" I nod in agreement.

"Mm I has my paci?" I ask innocently crossing my legs.

"You don't have to ask, sweetie" she chuckles placing my bag in the front seat of the cart to look through it.

"Uh oh..Bil, I don't see your paci. Did you leave it in the apart?"

I couldn't fight the tears filling my eyes, I want my paci!

"Please don't cry honey. How about you pick out a new one from here, yeah?" She asks pushing her blonde and blacks curls away from her eyes only to have them fall back into place.

"Okay" I whisper, wiping my cheek with the back of my hand.

I really sad now, my green paci is my favorite..

Frankie gently takes my hand in hers, guiding me through the store and stopping when we find a worker.

"Hi, can you tell me where the pacifiers are please?" Frankie asks the man.

"Of course, follow me!" he smiles looking at Frankie them me.

I shy away hiding myself behind Frankie, holding onto the back of her shirt as we follow the man.

"Ah! Here we are, we also make custom ones at a little station next to the register. No pun intended. We also have bundles that come with a matching bib, pacifier clip and security blanket" he says the smile never leaving his face.

"Thank you so much, sir" Frankie rasps.

"Anything for a mommy and her little, if you need anything just come ask me" he says before walking away.

"Um okay, so Bil see any pacis you like?" She looks down at me.

I draw my attention to the big selection and immediately point out one that I like.

"Wow you must really like the color green huh?" Frankie says picking up the pacifier and putting it in the cart

"Wow you must really like the color green huh?" Frankie says picking up the pacifier and putting it in the cart.

"I wan it now" I groan leaning against Frankie.

"I have to pay for it and rinse it off first, sweet heart."

"Wets go pay den" I shrug.

"I need to get a few more things for you and then we can go" she says.

I pout looking down at my shoes, she grabs my hand guiding me through the store.

After finding Billie some more clothes and a blanket I paid and of course I kept my word, finding a bathroom to rinse off her new paci. I then decided to head to the food court, I'm sure she's hungry by now.

"Do you have any idea what you wanna eat, little one?" I ask.

I gave her some time to look around, "mm tato bell?" She pointed to the far left.

"Taco Bell it is" I start to walk off, her hand in mine but Billie doesn't budge. "What's wrong?" I frown.

"Up" she asks shyly stretching her arms out.

"Darling I would carry you if I didn't have to hold all these bags" I sigh, my heart breaking at the sight of her sad eyes.

She frowns around her paci, "pwease?"

"Bil, I can't i'm sorry love. But I will carry you around after we eat okay?" I crouch down, placing my hand on her cheek.

She nods and takes my hand as we walk. I order our food and luckily there is a table less than 5 feet away so I can sit her down along with the bags.

"Order for Frankie" I woman calls out, I step up to grab the bag from her. "You're cute" she beams.

"Thanks" I say taking the food, "can I also have two bottles of water?"

"Sure, that'll be $14.85" I swipe my card. "Can I have your number, by any chance?"

"Um n-no, but have a nice day" I say starting to walk away.

"Wait, your receipt!" She calls out.

"Keep it" I say.

Setting the bag at the table, I make myself comfy before giving Billie her food.

"Why she talk to you, Fwankie?" Billie asks pulling her paci out of her mouth.

"She wanted my number" I chuckle, "here you go, 3 bean burritos."

Billie grumbled something under her breath as she unwrapped her burrito.

"Is something wrong, Bil?" I ask before taking a bite of my crunch wrap.

"You my Fwankie" she grunts, her words making my stomach flutter.

"Yes, I'm your Frankie" I kiss her cheek making her blush.

She giggles before going back to eating her food, swinging her little legs back and forth in her seat. The rest of our time in the mall was really good, I carried her around and even got her ice cream. Then she started to get really cranky.

"Billie, you have to let go so I can buckle you in" I sigh.

"No!" She groans.

"Billie, what is going on? You were just fine" I whine trying to pry her off me.

She whines and moans and when I finally get her arms from around my neck and buckle her in she starts to cry. Like screaming crying. I immediately go thru her back to get her paci and push it between her lips. She takes it but continues to cry around it.

"As soon as we get to the apartment I will hold you again I promise" I coo but that doesn't seem to help. "Look, Bil" I gasp showing her, her Stitch plushie.

She smacks it out of my hand, making it fly to the front seat. I give up, shutting the door and getting in the driver seat. Starting the car and pulling out of the parking garage, I try to tune her out but it's becoming difficult. Peeking in the review mirror I notice her small fists rubbing over her eyes.

She's tired. Why didn't I notice that? Way to use your brain, Frankie.

When we make it back home, I realize she stopped fussing. Poor angel fell asleep.

Note to self: nap time is a MUST to avoid cranky Billie.

I leave all the bags in the car for now so I can lay her down quickly to avoid waking her up. Carefully, I unbuckle her seatbelt and pull her out of the car and into my arms. She nuzzles her face into the crook of my neck, I grab her little book-bag and shut the door.

I make it up to my apartment and take her straight to my bed. Laying her down, I remove her shoes and socks before covering her with my blanket.
