I wake up from my nap not even remembering falling asleep. I'm in a bigger headspace than I was earlier in the day but I really don't wanna be.

Slight panic sets in when I realize i'm in a dark room all alone, so swiftly I push the blanket aside hopping out of the bed and to the door. Opening the door, my eyes squint at the bright lights in the living room.

All eyes fall on me and Frankie gets up from off the couch to come to me.

"Hi baby, did you have a good nap?" She rests her hand on my cheek, stroking it with her thumb.

"Mhm" I nod before lifting my arms letting her know I wanted to be picked up.

I'm not little but if I tell Frankie I'm big she may not want to hold me.

"Are you my small baby, huh?" She coos lifting me up before she makes her way to the couch.

I just shrug, not wanting to lie to her either. Claudia and Finneas look at me with soft smiles.

"We were just talking about you cutie" Claudia says reaching over to boop my nose lightly.

Giving her a small smile I snuggle into Frankie more, "are you okay honey?" She mumbles.

Again I just shrug.

"So Bil did you have fun today?" Finneas asks.

I don't say anything. My stomach feels all bubbly and I feel like crying. I know that soon he'll say he's ready to go home and I'll have to leave Frankie. How am I supposed to get used to not being around her?

"Billie, Finneas was talking to you lovey?"

Instead of responding to either of them I turn my head in the other direction squeezing my eyes, hoping they won't say anything else to me.

"Did we do something wrong, Bil?" Finneas speaks again

My hands now tightly placed over my ears.

I don't wanna talk.

I don't wanna talk.

"I don't wanna talk" the words escape past my lips softly before I can stop them.

Warm tears start to squeeze past my tightly shut eyes, sliding down my face. Faintly I can hear Frankie calling my name.

Carefully I try to pry Billie's hands off of her ears, "baby" I say gently.

She's shaking now and really starting to worry me. Her cute face is flushed a light pink color and a thin layer of sweat coats her forehead.

"Baby I need you to move your hands so I can help you calm down" I croak.

A sob leaves Billie's mouth and my heart aches for her. Her hands fall from her ears and she wraps her arms around my neck holding me suffocatingly tight.

"My poor baby, you're okay darling" soothingly I rub small circles on her back.

Billie's sobs escalate into a full on hysterical breakdown.

"Is there anything we can do to help her calm down?" Claudia asks, her voice laced with concern for the crying girl in my arms.

"Her stitch plushy and pacifier are in the room, those usually help her calm down" I say.

"Okay, babe come with me" Claudia says, pulling Finneas along before he gets a chance to agree.

"My sad baby tell me what's wrong, I can't help if you don't talk to me" my voice gentle so she doesn't think I'm mad at her.

"D-Don't wa-wan" she is barely able to speak.

"Okay angel I need you to look at me. Look at momma please" I urged.

Placing my hands on her cheeks I speak as calmly as I can, "Darling I want you to follow my breathing, okay?"

"M-Mhm" she hums trying to silence her cries.

"Okay deep breathe in" I inhale deeply looking into her eyes as she follows along.

"And let it out" I instruct.

We repeat that for a few more times until I can tell she's a little more relaxed.

"Do you think you can tell me what's got you so worked up?" I tuck some of her hair behind her ears.

As she opens her mouth to speak Claudia and Finneas emerge from the bedroom, "Frankie told us you might want these."

Finneas hands Billie her plushy and pacifier but instead of taking her it turns her head away from him.

"Baby don't you want your paci and stitch?" I ask, confused by her how she's acting.

"Wan him leave" she mumbles.

Finneas and I make eye contact, the hurt in his eyes making me feel awful.

"He's your brother baby, why do you want him to leave?"

That was the wrong thing to say, Billie gets out of lap looking at me as I've betrayed her somehow. She backs away from me and I stand up.

"Mommy no wan me anymore!" She screams, her pacifier falling to the floor.

My eyes widen, "what? Why would you say that baby?"

"Finnus' wan take Biwie 'way an- an mommy wan Biwie to go" Billie storms into the bathroom, slamming the door shut and locking it behind her.
