Jaden
As I sat in Ms. Brown's class, for some reason, my eyes kept drifting over to Janelle. I keep trying to resist the urge, but nothing's working. It's just that I've been feeling so weird ever since that day when we almost kissed. I don't know what I was even doing. It's just I was staring at her while she was writing, and she looked...pretty...I guess.
But I am so glad she stopped herself. Because if she didn't, things probably would've been more weird and screwed up than they already are.
And I'm guessing she's trying to avoid me. She hasn't lied one eye on me since that day. Oh well. I've got way better things to do than worry about some girl.
That was last Sunday when we almost kissed. Why am I still worrying about that? If she wants to avoid me, that's fine with me.
I heard the bell ring and I instantly grabbed my stuff and stormed out of the room. My next class is economics, and I'm so glad Janelle isn't in that class.
As I walked out of the classroom, I could barely take two steps before someone stopped me. "Jaden. Why are you in such a rush? We have like 10 minutes before economics." Kelsey said as she stepped in front of me and wrapped her hands around my upper arm.
"Uh. I don't know. No reason." I lied straight through my teeth. The real reason was obviously to get away from Janelle as quickly as possible.
"Oh. Well I've missed you. A lot. You haven't been calling me lately." She said.
Oh yeah. I haven't been calling Kelsey as much as I used to. A lot of stuff has been on my mind. Especially when I'd talked to Janelle about my sister. I've just been thinking about Skylar non stop. I keep thinking about Janelle non stop.
Shaking what I'd just said out of my mind, I looked down at Kelsey, her hazel eyes looked into my brown-green eyes and I wrapped both of my arms around her waist. "I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you. How about a movie this afternoon. We can see Daycare Death 2." I said. Everyone likes Daycare Death. Of course she'll agree to that.
"Oh my gosh. Daycare Death is my favorite movie," She smiled and lifted her arms to wrap them around my shoulders. "you know me so well." She kissed me before saying goodbye and running off to her next class. Actually, I didn't even know Dycare Death was her favorite movie. I just wanted to see the 2nd one...
See what an amazing boyfriend I am?
Just as I was about to walk into my economics class, I felt someone's hand cover my mouth and pull me along with them. "What the fuck!" I yelled, but the hand over my mouth made my voice muffled.
Whoever the hell was practically kidnapping me right now, is about to get there ass whopped if they don't let go of me in the next 5 seconds.

Fortunately, the person let go of me at three. When the person let go of me, I quickly turned around to see who decided to grab me on my way to class. "What the f-" I stopped when I saw Mason, Sam, and Blaze standing in front of me, grinning, probably about to burst out laughing any second...and I was correct. All three of my idiotic friends bursted out into a fit of laughter as I stood there, unaware of the situation. I looked around and saw that they had brought me to the back hallway.
"Sorry man," Blaze said in the middle of his laughter. He caught his breath and then began talking normally. "We kidnapped you and brought you here to talk." He said.
"About what? And you're lucky you let go of me. Because I was about to kick one of you guys' balls." I said.
Sam's eyes widened. "Anyway...we brought you here because we need to talk to you about your party reputation." He said.
I gave him a weird look. "My party reputation? What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"Look Jaden," Mason said, stepping forward. "You used to throw parties every single weekend. And they used to be the shit." He said.
"Yeah, okay. I know that." I said.
"But," Blaze continued the conversation. "People have been talking about how your party this year was kind of lame...and you haven't been throwing anymore parties lately, and people are getting bored. They want another "famous Jaden Wilson" party, you know?"
I shrugged. "So you're saying I should throw another party?" I asked.
"Yeah. But this time it has to be like, killer." Sam said.
I shrugged again. "Okay." I said.
"Good." Blaze said. "Oh yeah. Can you have it on next Friday? Because next Saturday is my little sisters 5th grade bake sale. And I do not feel like staying up Friday night to help her bake." Blaze rolled in eyes in annoyance.
I laughed. "Yeah man. Whatever. See you guys around." I turned around to walk back to class.
As I turned the corner, I bumped into someone. I sighed in a loud, frustrated manner. "Why is there always an interruption when I'm trying to get to class." I said. I looked down to the short figure that was in front of me and I froze when I saw the person who was now looking up at me with confused eyes. "Um. Hey Ariel..." I muttered.
She pushed her nerd glasses up further on her nose and looked down at the ground. "Um. Hi." She said.
Her long blonde hair was pulled up in a messy bun and she was wearing a plaid sweater, black skinny jeans, and brown boots. "Um...I'm uh...I'm throwing a party next Friday if you're...if you're interested in coming." I stuttered. Yeah yeah, I know what I did to her was wrong, but I might as well tell her about the party so she doesn't still think of me as a total bitch.
"Um...n-no thanks. I'm not interested." She said.
"Oh, well okay." I said. We stood there in silence for a couple of seconds before we just both decided to walk off and head to our next classes. That was weird...
I walked into my economics class and sat in my desk and put my head down and began my nap in class.
