A new story

She took a deep sigh, trying to avoid her tears, "Valentines Day 2017. My father was rushed to the hospital. He had stomach cancer. He needed an operation and we needed a large amount of money. We're just an average family, so even if we could afford most of the fees, we still need more. I've been applying for a part-time job the next day, our anniversary. That's why I only managed to contact you at night after I've been accepted at a coffee shop. But before that, our music teacher Mrs. Park told me about a music composition contest hosted by the radio station. She told me that if I won, I'd get the money that'll help us with my father's operation and recognition which I really don't care about. I need to win that, but I have too many responsibilities. I don't want you to suffer because of me so I didn't tell you all of that. I remembered what you told me," Jisoo took a deep breath before continuing. 

 "You can't fix your problems by making another. That is when it hit me. I would like to chase you but it's too late. So even if it hurts me, I still did everything I needed to do, because, after that, I'd go back to you. It hurts working at the cafe and writing a song without you because we had so many memories of both together. Instead, I used it as an inspiration. Even if we had no label anymore you'd still be my strength. I composed 'Habits' for the contest and the judges liked it so I won. That's because of you, now those days are over, and now I need to fix my biggest regret, breaking up with you. That's why I wrote"Clarity" and hoped you'd listen to it. Thankfully you did, Y/n, I'm so sorry for breaking your heart. I'm an idiot, I know, but I love you. I love you so much."

Y/n sat shocked by Jisoo's confession. "I-I should've known you could've told me. I could help you with that song or something. I should've been there for you. With you," he said in an almost crying tone.

"I-I promise I'll tell you everything-everything from now on." He looked at her, His eyes were full of wonder and hope. It's so beautiful and shining that Jisoo could not resist not looking at her back.

Jisoo's eyes were sincere, Jisoo has indeed matured and grown-up.  "I cherish you Y/n, You're the biggest blessing I've ever received. I'm so sorry, from now on, let's forget the past." Y/n gave her a questioning look. "Forget those bad times, from now on ..." "Are you letting me go?" "No. From now on, let's start a new story"

Y/n took a deep breath, "No."
