From underwater, I emerge
with sympathy for the Earth.
Not just the waves or trees
or animals surrounded by
structured reality—
but for humanity.How many times must we repeat these
patterns of power;
these patterns of anger;
these patterns of fear?Justifying anything to feel-
to feel like we're righteous;
but people will never be righteous.
Not by many good deeds or controlling the unwanted floodgates of reality;
Not by saving anyone nor anything;
For righteousness is a non-human power.Righteousness is to control heaven's gate
or to create universes like the Milky Way;
To understand the true difference between good and evil.
To truly understand failure as a lesson not an impairment;
To forever evolve and experience what is imperfection;
and to realize freedom is in letting go.From underwater, truths emerge.
When will we let truth be and not
tamper humanity with our temper?
Skewing nature is skewing God; and,
to act like nature is delusional is to act
against His name.Did we really believe that slips
of man-made paper was divine;
and if it was, why did we subject it
to the fingers of human touch?
Why make something so pure accessible?
I never claimed to be a Christian,
but I'm trying to exist
without being existential.I want to live in solidarity,
exist without restricting our reality.
Why not leave these beliefs that hold us back?
Liberate us from the bloodshed.If chaos shall be enacted,
then chaos life shall be;
but only for a second, consider
life could be different if we just
let each other live in coexistence.
If we brought the grace from our churches
and funded a peaceful immunity,
I never would have to say,
"I only want peace."
