Chapter 16: Her weakness

Aliah's POV

It's been 2 months since Luke came back. He said he can stay longer or as much as he wants since stable na ang business nila sa abroad. We are getting closer again na para bang di kami nagkahiwalay ng dalawang taon.

He's courting me again and i admit that i still have these feelings for him. Luke is still the same person that i love. Hindi ko lang talaga sya magawang sagutin pa sya ngayon. I don't know. There's something stopping me..

Or maybe, someone.

And about me and my maid, things slowly changed between the two of us. She is still my personal maid and we still live on the same house but i feel like she's beyond my reach. Ramdam ko yung distant nya every single day. Nakikita ko lang sya pag may ipapautos ako.

Lumalapit lang sya pag tinatawag ko sya. She doesn't talk to me and she doesn't feel like comfortable with me. Minsan ko nalang din sya makita sa school. If di pa ako dumaan sa building nila eh di ko sya makikita. I know she's avoiding me and it hurts me everytime she do that.

"Alright, as we all know next week will be the start of the second semester. And by that, The university will held an Acquaintance party to welcome new students. As part of this event, each department will perform an intermission number to entertain them. So if some of you wants to perform, gladly go to student hall this afternoon to audition cause we all know we only want to show the best of the best here in AHSU. Hope to see you guys there. And that is all for today, Class dismissed"

That's our Prof informing us about the upcoming event. Every year may ganito sa University. As usual, i am one of the judges in this audition. Im the owner of the school so i need to be. Two days ang audition since sobrang daming departments dito. And for sure madaming gustong mag perform kaya di kakayanin ng isang araw lang.

Dalawa din ang venue para hati rin. Katulong ko naman ang mga school admins para sa pagpili kung sino ang mga mag peperform sa event.

"Ali, manonood kami mamaya sa audition ah? Pwede paupo mamaya sa table nyo para mas malapit?" ngiti ngiting sabi sakin ni Hazel

"Sus Hazel if i know mag s'spot ka lang ng mga Oppa kaya gusto mo malapitan" pambabara naman sa kanya ni Keira.

Hazel tried her very best to forget her feelings about Nica. Pero minsan di maiiwasan na magpansinan parin silang dalawa. But Hazel is not a threat to me anymore. She still respects me as her friend.

"Ofcourse not! Ayoko lang makiupo sa ibang mga students noh. Please Ali?" kumapit pa talaga sya sa braso ko

"Ofcourse you can" agad namang napangiti si hazel sa sagot ko

"Great! Now let's go grab something. Im hungry" pag aaya ni Hazel. Di naman ako gutom kasi lagi akong kumakain ng breakfast sa bahay. Isa lang kasi sa time yun para makita ko si Nica.

Nasa Cafeteria kami ngayon and as usual tahimik na naman since andito kami. Umupo na kami sa pwesto namin dito after umorder ng food. Napatingin ako sa lalaking naglalakad kasi familiar ito sakin. Sya yung engineering student na friend ni maid.

May dala dala itong tray ng food kay sinundan ko sya ng tingin. May kutob lang talaga ako and yes tama nga ako.

Sa di kalayuang table andun sila. Si maid, yung bestfriend nya, yung engineering guy and who is that? May new girl yata silang kasama? And she seems close kay maid kasi magkatabi sila at masayang nag uusap. Di ko alam na nakasunod din pala yung mga mata ni keira and hazel sa tinitingnan ko.

"Who is that girl with Nica?" biglang tanong ni Keira

"I dont know. Ngayon ko lang nakita na kasama nya yan" sabi naman ni hazel
