Nag dadalawang isip pang pumasok si Dainase sa ospital ng Eicasea. She was afraid to see how many people got injured dahil sa kapabayaan niya, she didn't want to hear anymore complaints, but how? For her, she wasn't doing the best at her job kaya wala siyang karapatang mag reklamo na maraming reklamo ang binibigay sa kaniya. She also doesn't want to have anymore arguments with her people.
“Ano, Dainase, tatayo ka na lang ba riyan? Kanina pa kami nag hihintay sa ’yo!” Singhal ng kaniyang kapatid na bagot na.
She can go inside the hospital alone with her servants but instead she’s waiting for Dainase. Why? Because she wants to brag that she’s the imperial highness’ step-sister, she always brag about it everyday. Millieth doesn’t want to go inside the hospital to see the people got injured, she just wants to show off.
“Kung gusto mo pumasok sa ospital ate, pumasok ka. Bakit mo pa ba ako hinihintay?” The empress replied to her step-sister, nang hindi lumilingon sa kaniya.
“Because.. kailangan ka nila ro’n sa loob!”
“Ako naman pala ang kailangan, bakit ka nandito? Hindi naman kita pinapasama,” pinasadahan niya lang ito ng tingin saka na-unang nag lakad papasok sa ospital.
The empress was welcomed by the nurses and doctors, “Your imperial highness! Thank the almighty for sending you here!”
“Where’s the people who got injured?” Agad na tanong ni empress Dainase, she was then escorted to the room kung saan lahat ng may natamong sugat ay pinatuloy.
“Are they already treated? Okay na ba sila?”
“We already treat each and one of them a first aid but unfortunately it’s still not enough, we thought at first that this is just a common type of an injury,” one of the doctors gestured to a nurse and then the nurse handed him a piece of gemstone. “But then we found this, a piece of a dangerous mineral inside the wound.”
“They were shot by a bow and the arrow were made up by a gemstone called rubellite,” the empress shared them the information, “I don’t understand.. It should be the rubellite gemstone that you guys have found since the arrow was made up of that gemstone not a dangerous mineral.”
“Ayan ang hindi na po namin alam, we just happen to found this, your imperial highness. Baka naman nilagyan din nila ng torbernite ang dulo ng arrow.” The doctor gulped.
“I’m sorry, what’s a torbernite?” The empress confusedly asked the doctor.
“It’s the name of the dangerous mineral we found, torbernite is a potentially hazardous mineral made up of hydrated green copper, phosphate, and uranyl. Because of its radioactive nature, the mineral is frequently found in granites that contain uranium. The mineral naturally produces radon, which can cause lung cancer if exposed for a long time.” The doctor explained to them.
“It’s a dangerous mineral! And you guys just gave them a first aid?! I’m not paying you all to receive this kind of service!” Hinilot ni Dainase ang sintido.
“We apologize, your imperial highness but.. the supplies here in Eicasea is not enough, hindi rin po kompleto ang mga kagamitan na nandirito. To be able to treat them, kailangan namin silang ilipat sa mas malaking ospital. Kung saan kumpleto ang lahat, sa Bluemendorf.” The doctor bowed his head.
“Akala ko ba kompleto na ang lahat ng mga kagamitan rito sa Eicasea para hindi na kailangan pumunta pa sa ibang distrito?”
“Palagi po namin pinapaalalahanan ang sekretarya niyo, pero palagi niya rin naman pong sinasabi na; may mas importante pang trabaho ang imperial highness kaysa sa mga kagamitan ng ospital niyo.” One of the nurses muttered.
