Chapter Sixteen || PROGRAM

"I just saw Yeonjun hyung with Yeji on his back earlier." Soobin told the girl.

Apparently the both of them is in her apartment. Lia is helping him with his works, so they will have time for each other for club week.

"What happened?" She ask, concerned on why does her friend is being carried. Plus, she's worried since Yeji ankle is still not healed.

"I don't know, I just saw them leaving the forest behind the school." He answered smiling mischievously.

"I know what you are thinking right now." The two grinned at each other.

"Btw, about the hangout. What time do you want?" She ask him arranging his papers for the club day.

"After the program. Is that fine?" He tried to ask her back, which she only nodded to.

She was about to hand him the papers but a certain name caught her attention.

"Wait... Is it the Ryujin that I know?" She ask pointing at the program card. Showing him.

"Yes, I thought you already know that she'll perform with Beomgyu." He said. Looking at her a little confused.

She chuckled before finally handing him the paper.

"I guess my friends now have their own love lives huh. Without telling me." She scoff before pouting and hugging her knees.

Soobin smiled at her cuteness before coming towards her and hug her sideward.

"We also didn't told them about us." He told her. Which also make her eyes widen.

"Oh right, about the engagement." She break free from the hug. "We should tell them at the hangout. And I'll also make them confess." She smiled wickedly, making him fake tremble.

"Just about the engagement?" He ask her a little shy. He was fidgeting his fingers, which Lia noticed.

"Of course I'll tell them that you are now my boyfriend." He smiled at what she said, before pecking on her forehead.

Everyone is busy with things on Monday. The club week just started, and many students are expecting to attend the school opening program.

Thanks to spreading rumors that Beomgyu and Yeonjun will perform, almost all of the female students are already in the gym even before the the clock strike to 7.

But what they will not expect is to see both of the two male, is with their respective girl beside them later.

Soobin was busy checking the students. He was assigned to be look out for the students today. And no one knows how grateful he was when he learned that he'll not be sitting on his desk for hours while his friends is busy with their dates.

He was busy helping the other students to find available seats when he saw 2 familiar red haired person entered the gymnasium.

He chuckled before shaking his head.

' I'm really right then. They finally have their dates with them.'

Soon enough he saw his youngest friend with his infamous long time crush.

He then found his oldest friend helping the cat eyed girl to sit down. He tried to look around to find Lia but sadly he didn't saw any glimpse of her.

He decided to check the officers backstage and there he saw his another friend preparing for his performance later.

"You okay?" He ask patting the back of his friend.

"I'm nervous hyung." The younger said. Fidgeting his fingers before looking outside to see the students waiting.

"Aish, please tell him oppa, that he'll do good later." The short haired girl suddenly showed up with a water bottle on her one hand, handing it to Beomgyu.

"Don't be nervous, you'll do good. Me and the boys is just here to support you. Besides she's here with you." Soobin teasingly smiled at the younger before leaving him, to attend his assigned work.

He was passing by one of the empty rooms but someone caught his attention again. But this time a smile found it's way to his face before walking towards the direction.

He casually put his arm around her waist before kissing her cheek, which caught the girl off guard.

"There you are." He said smiling at the girl. Lia look around to see if someone saw them. And thankfully no one did.

"Hey, how are you?" She asked facing him and combing his hair with her hands.

"I'm fine, getting tired." He said before putting his head on the crook of her neck. Sniffing her sweet scent.

"What are you doing here?" He ask before hugging the small body of the girl.

"I'm preparing." She answered which make him confused.

"Preparing? For what?" He asked again, looking at the girl.

"I'm the Master of the Ceremony today." She said with a smile on her face. Which make him brow furrowed.

"Why I didn't know? Soyeon was the one who should be the MC." Soobin said remembering who is assigned to be the Master of the Ceremony today.

"Sadly, Soyeon couldn't make it, there's an emergency. And Chan oppa assigned me to be the replacement." She said, making the boy more confused on how did she said the school student council president name casually.

And Lia notices it making her to explain it to him.

"Hyunjin, is Yeji twin brother. And Chan oppa is friend with him, so apparently Yeji is close with Hyunjin's friend, and so we are." She explained which make him pout, getting a little jealous.

"Lia! Get ready we'll be starting in 5." They heard a shout from the outside of the room.

"Guess we'll just see each other at the cafe later." They both smile at each other before separating.
