The next chapter finally after two weeks I think. I really wanted to make this chapter a bit longer and wanted it to be good because Ayla is meeting her first soulmate and there are a lot of emotions. And in advance I know that the fight between Tyler and Jeremy was in episode 2 but when I wrote it I thought it was after Stefan's birthday which it's not but I won't change it so yeah hope you don't get too confused.

.IV.

He has heard many things about soulmates over his years roaming the earth. He also met a  couple once, they told him how amazing it was to have found their other halves, how complete they felt. And he saw how protective they were, they felt each other on a whole other level, they felt each others pain and emotions. It fascinated him. And now he witnessed his sister finding hers, he was happy for her but couldn't really wrap his mind around it.

He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard another, louder and more threatening growl from Ayla. She looked into the direction of the back door and glared at it. It looked like she was listening to something, so he too payed attention and listened on what was going on behind that door.

Soon enough he heard some shouting. "I'm gonna kick your ass." he identified the voice belonging to Tyler Lockwood. "Yeah, you keep saying that, but when are you gonna actually do it? Huh?" Jeremy Gilbert said back.

The two where fighting again, but Stefan didn't know if that was what Ayla was listening into. Why would she be interested if the two teenagers would get into a fight, unless...

Before he could say anything else Ayla walked to the door and stepped outside. Her gaze immediately locked on the form of the Gilbert boy. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. It was when Jeremy pushed Tyler that she snapped out of her thoughts. She didn't remember this scene that well, one - because she wasn't there when it was made and two - because it's not an big event that somehow effects the plot.

But now she had the feeling that it was the most important moment in her life. So, while she didn't remember this scene she did know that the Lockwood's had quite the temper which made her cautious of him. She didn't know if he would hurt Jeremy now, but either way she wouldn't let him.

She quickly walked to the two arguing boys, when Tyler raised his fist. Before it could hit Jeremy, Ayla was in front of him and caught his fist in hers with ease. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." She practically growled at the untriggered werewolf.

Tyler blinked shocked that someone stopped his punch, a fragile looking girl at that. He didn't even saw her coming but his whole attention was on the rage he felt towards the younger boy so he didn't pay attention to the surprisingly strong girl who moved at an inhuman speed.

Jeremy didn't know what happened, it happened too quick. One second he saw Tyler, readying himself to punch him, the next a beautiful girl, from what he could see, saved him from said punch. She stopped his punch without trouble and her hand didn't move at the force when she caught it.
