First of all, I'm sorry for updating so late recently but I was busy playing my Marauders dream in Sims and got carried away... anyway moving on, this book has nearly 20K reads and I don't know how I can thank y'all. "'OMG CAROLINE!" Ayla sprung up the moment she remembered that her newly found friend was about to die, which was fortunately not too late. Jeremy, who was peacefully sleeping beside her jolted awake and stared confused at his mate. "What the hell is going on?" he mumbled sleepily. He sat up, after Ayla stood up from the bed to change her clothes, yawning while watching her.
"Where are you going?" he questioned after his last question was left unanswered. "To the hospital" when she saw the concern in her mates eyes she quickly added- "To see Caroline" "Why is Caroline in the hospital?" He asked now also getting changed.
"They had an accident. Tyler, Matt and Caroline but Care's the only one who's got injured. Tyler and Matt are fine." Ayla rushed downstairs to see Jenna watching the news, who were talking about the fire yesterday at the Founder's day.
When the blonde noticed the soulmates she shot them a smile "Good morning, kids, you want some breakfast?" Ayla smiled back at her "No, thank you, Jenna. We're in a hurry, Caroline had an accident, we're headed to the hospital." Jenna gasped and told them that she would tag along. So now the three were sitting in Jenna's car on the way to the Mystic Falls Hospital.
"How is she ?" Ayla questioned Bonnie when she arrived. "Better, after Damon fed her his blood. She'll be fine" Ayla cursed under her breath for being too late, but masked it with a small nod and sympathetic look to Bonnie. "Can I talk to her?" "Yeah but Matt's in there so..." Ayla nodded once again and looked to Jeremy who was comforting his sister a few seats away.
He looked up at her and she gestured to him that she's going to see Caroline. Jeremy nodded in understanding and turned back to Elena.
Ayla walked into the room to see Matt asleep on a chair beside Caroline. Caroline was awake, staring at the ceiling. When she heard the door creak open the blonde looked up to see the youngest Salvatore and instantly beamed at her. "Ayla!" she squealed, making Matt jolt awake.
"I'm sorry Matt" she apologized whispering- as if that would help him fall back asleep. "I-It's alright, I'll check on Tyler. Do you need anything, Care?" he asked while sleepily walking outside. Caroline shook her head an he nodded before closing the door behind him.
Ayla sat down on the spot Matt had previously spent his night on and looked at Caroline. She looked all healed up, meaning that the blonde had vampire blood in her system, which Bonnie said already.
