This Chapter is completely about Jeremy and Ayla and their first day together and I don't know if I like it tbh. I'm not sure yet but I think the next chapter will be following the plot a bit or the chapter after that, we'll see. ENJOY!!

Jeremy felt his breath hitch, soulmates? those things aren't real. "I-I don't know what you're talking about." he said slowly. Ayla took a deep breath and gathered all her confidence "I am a vampire and we are mates. Connected to each other forever."
Jeremy's eyes widened. Ayla waited anxiously for his reaction but he was frozen. She could feel that Jeremy was afraid and confused which made her heart sink. He was afraid of her... She stood up and took a few steps back, wanting to get some distance between so he wouldn't be overwhelmed.
Jeremy's eyes snapped to her the moment she stood up and watched her every move, he kinda felt distressed the farther away she was from him so he stood up as well. "I-i know it's a lot to take in and that you're scared-" "You know because of the bond?" he cut in, he wanted to know everything so he could process it properly.
He didn't know if Ayla was joking or not because somehow he felt like she was telling him the truth, like she would always tell him the truth.
At the same time he felt as if he was being fooled because Vampires couldn't possibly exist or soulmates. But he felt so drawn to her and then he remembered their glowing eyes again and when he couldn't find an answer as to how that happened he believed her, tho it was still not enough.
Ayla nodded "I can feel your emotions, not strong enough yet but once we bon- it will get stronger after some time." Jeremy nodded and looked into his soulmates eyes, he could see it in her eyes, she was uncertain, perhaps afraid? He couldn't really tell but he didn't like it he wanted to see her smile again but he also knew that this was serious and important.
"Prove it." he declared finally and Ayla tilted her head not understanding what he meant. "Prove it to me that you are a vampire." he explained. Ayla's eyes widened and she nodded lightly in thought. She didn't want to scare him even more.
Suddenly when Jeremy blinked she was gone and he frantically looked to his left and right. Did she leave? How did she do that? He felt a light tab on his shoulder and turned around with wide eyes to see Aylawith a small smile on her face. "H-how" he questioned and she chuckled lightly. He felt his heart skip a beat, she's so beautiful while laughing .
"Vamp speed, along with strength, hearing and co." she said grinning. She could hear his heart beating fast and grinned wider. Jeremy was so mesmerized by her that he nearly forgot about her being a vampire, and then he remembered something.
"That's how you got to me and Tyler so quickly? And how you were able to stop his fist, right?" he asked and the thought of Tyler made Ayla's blood boil. She growled lowly "I should have broken his hand for ever daring to touch you." Jeremy blushed lightly at her protectiveness.
