I've made up my mind on the mate situation. I hope you guys will like the story whether the mates are only mated to Ayla or to each other. You'll find out what it'll be soon ;)

Ayla pulled up in front of the Lockwood mansion and exited her brother's car, leaning on the hood and waiting for a certain someone to come out.

"Forget I even brought it up, all right" she heard Mason say to Tyler when he opened the door. "I'll see you later." the older Lockwood added before he shut the door behind him and turned to be met with Ayla.

She pulled off her sunglasses and grinned up at the man who had captured the heart of her best friend in only two days. "It's going to bite you in the ass if you don't tell him, you know." Mason shook his head while he walked up to her and stood in front of the brunette.

"He's too young and shouldn't be apart of this." Ayla lifted one of her eyebrows and pushed herself off the car. "He's going to find out eventually and that will only make the temptation worse."

Mason only looked away. He knew that the older girl was right, however he didn't want his nephew to go trough the excruciating pain that he did every moon.  He wanted him to have a normal life without getting involved in the supernatural world.

Ayla scoffed at him "Fine, it's on you I guess. Get into the car. I need to get something from Carol for Jenna real quick." Mason nodded.

Ayla walked up to the door and knocked on it, seconds later a confused Tyler opened the door. She stared at the untriggered werewolf for a second "I need to talk to your mother." Tyler let her in and shut the door. When they were in the foyer she turned to look at Tyler "My mom's not home, but I need answers." the boy said to her seriously.

Ayla smirked, her eyes piercing through his as if she was looking into his soul. "Great, because actually I wanted to see you and not your mum. Mason's just got super hearing, which I do too by the way." then her eyes turned cold and she stared at him seriously "Now, how about you give me that pretty gem in your pocket? It doesn't belong to you, does it?" Tyler took a step back from the intimidating vampire.

"I-I don't know what your talking about." the boy stammered trying to keep his composure. Ayla sighed as she looked at him and then extended her hand. "Give it to me and I'll answer you two questions." Tyler didn't know if he should risk it. He didn't know why but this stone, he had hidden from his uncle, was really important to them.

He wanted to know why. He wanted to know everything that involved this new world he had recently been aware of.

Besides he wasn't even sure if he could trust Ayla to tell the truth. Alas he was still a teenage boy and had too much faith in the things other people said.
