Squidward said, "I love you Spongebob." Spongebob could feel his face growing redder as he realized his own feelings for the man standing in front of him. Squidward held Spongebob's hands and said, "It's okay if you don't feel the same, but I wanted to tell you. The people who hung around me found out so they said they would tell everyone unless I bullied you."
    Spongebob was so worried about everything and he started crying, Squidward hugged him and kept telling him it would be okay and that he was sorry. "Don't be sorry, I love you too." Squidward did not stop hugging Spongebob as he cried. Squidward slowly started to softly stoke Spongebob's hair while he hugged him. 
Squidward eventually broke the hug and held Spongebobs brushing the tears away with his thumb. Spongebob slowly stopped crying and he smiled up at the man holding his face. Squidward slowly leaned down and planted a kiss on his lips. Spongebob eagerly kissed him back. Squidward put his large hands on the delicate man's hips and deepened the kiss. Spongebob opened his mouth and Squidward explored every nook and cranny of the smaller man's mouth. Spongebob wrapped his arms around Squidwards neck to pull Squidward closer. Squidward grabbed Spongebob's thighs and picked him up and turned around so Squidward was facing the wall. Squidward shoved Spongebob against the wall and kissed him again. Spongebob and Squidward stayed there making out for a couple more minutes until they heard the bell ring, meaning they would be late for their first class. Spongebob and Squidward started their walk to class awkwardly silent and standing a foot apart. Their teacher scolded them for being late and their "punishment" was Spongebob having to tutor Squidward some more. Spongebob was happy that entire day until he had to go home, he had to go home to his parents, ready to send him to conversion therapy and his ex who outed Spongebob to his homophobic parents.
    Spongebob took a deep breath and started on his walk back home, Squidward was farther back ignoring Sheldon and Karen. Spongebob walked into his house, his parents were sitting in the living room watching the television, Spongebob greeted them and went to his room to quickly put his things away before going to tutor Squidward.
    As Spongebob walked out the door of his house, informing his parents he would be tutoring a fellow student he saw Patrick.
    "Patrick! You aren't supposed to be here!" Spongebob was whisper-shouting again so he wouldn't disturb his parents.
    "You were talking to Sandy, are you dating her now?!" Spongebob pushed him out of the doorway and closed the door so his parents couldn't see Patrick.
    "I'm not dating anyone Patrick. You need to leave, I broke up with you." Patrick rolled his eyes and stomped away to his house, Spongebob walked away from Squidward's house and stood by the wall until Patrick was in his house and out of sight. When Patrick had retreated into his house Spongebob walked up to Squidward's door, he was about to knock when the door opened to reveal Squidward eagerly waiting for Spongebob.
    "H-h-h-h-h-hey Squidward." Spongebob immediately blushed and Squidward let him into the house.
    Spongebob and Squidward spent an hour or two studying when Squidward asked Spongebob a question. "Are we dating now?" Spongebob was blushing so hard, he quickly nodded and Squidward replied by leaning towards Spongebob and whispering in his ear. "Good, I want to date you." Spongebob blushed harder and Squidward kissed him softly. Spongebob kissed back the taller man and they got back to studying for another hour.
    After another hour or so of studying Squidward abruptly set his pencil down with a sharp clack.
    "S-Squidward what are you d-doing? We still have to stu-"Spongebob was cut off by the taller man kissing him. Spongebob closed his eyes and kissed Squidward back softly, Squidwards hand moved up to hold Spongebob's cheek and his other hand traveled down to the smaller man's hips. Spongebob broke the kiss and picked up Squidwards pencil, handing it back to him. "Let's study a bit more." Spongebob quickly got back to doing homework while squidward was a little bit angry for the kiss ending so quickly.
