I woke up to the coffee pot grumbling, and the morning sunlight hitting the window just right.

Which reflected onto my eyeballs.

I sat up on the edge of the couch, and groaned.

“Good morning to you, too.” Darry chuckled from the kitchen.

I shot him a glare.

He was a morning person, I wasn't.

I got up, and poured myself a cup of coffee.

Darry was making breakfast, he usually does.
I declined a plate, I never really eat breakfast anyway.

I quickly chugged my coffee, since I didn't have a cigarette to enjoy it with.

“I gotta go get cigarettes, tell Pony that I'll meet up with them later?” I asked Darry.

“Sure, keep out of trouble.” Darry replied.

“No promises.” I joked, as I walked out the door.

I walked quickly to the DX station.

Steve was working outside, while Soda was running the counter inside.

I leaned on the countertop with my forearms, as Soda got me my pack of cigarettes and a Pepsi.

“What are you guys doing today?” Soda asked me, as he typed on the register.

“Going to see a movie later.” I said, giving him a smile.

“Good, keep you out of trouble. That will be 32 cents.” Soda gave me a smile back.

“Yeah for a little while at least.” I chuckled, as I gave him the change in my pocket.

“We can only hope, I'll see you around.” Soda waved, as we went our separate ways.

The next few hours, I spent cleaning up the house, and doing my own thing.

I took a shower, and picked my outfit out.

I did my makeup, and got changed.

That's when I laid on my bed, and stared at the ceiling.

I thought about Dallas wanting to start back up again.

I mean, it wouldn't hurt.

I had nothing to lose.

In reality, it would give me something to do.

My fear was that one of us would catch feelings.

If both of us didn't then it, would be a mess.

I thought for a while, as I played with his ring that was on my finger.

I woke up, and the darkness of the night was creeping into the sky.

“Shit, I'm gonna be late!” I yelled, as I frantically jumped to my feet.

I put my shoes on, grabbed my cigarettes, and ran out the door.

I ran all the way to the theater, I snuck around to the back fence, and jumped over it.

I weaved through the crowd of people to the front seats.

Johnny and Ponyboy left a seat between them, and Dallas for me to sit.

I'm assuming that Dallas told them to save that seat for me.

“You're late.” Pony huffed at me, with a frown on his face.

“I fell asleep.” I replied, as I sat down.
