You could hear the music from the party a block away.

The red lights glowed out of the windows, as I approached the front door.

I slipped through the door, only to be stopped by a guy trying to play bouncer.

“She's cool.” Buck said, walking over to me, and the man.

He shooed the guy away from the door.

“Thanks, Buck.” I smiled, as I followed him over to the bar.

“No problem, kid.  You're here early, it's only 9 oclock. What are you doing here this early in the night?” he asked me as, we took our seats at the bar.

“Went to the movies for a little bit, wasn't very interesting. Got bored so I came here.” I chuckled.

The guy behind the bar handed me my usual drink.

“Understandable, they never play anything good there anyway.” Buck said, as I slammed my drink.

We chatted for a while, as I drank one after another.

Buck was a typical rodeo boy, he was always at rodeos and throwing parties.

“I'm gonna use the bathroom quickly.” I told Buck, as I jumped off the bar stool.

Buck always watches out for me at his parties.
I guess he likes to keep a set of eyes on me, to make sure nothing happens to me.
I made my way to the bathroom, and did my business.

I lit a cigarette on the way back, only to see Dallas Winston talking to Buck.

I sat back on my stool, and took a long drag from my cigarette.

“You put a tracker on me or something? You just keep following me around.” I joked with Dallas.

“I didn't even know you were here tonight.” Dallas said, as he sipped on his beer.

“He's gonna keep following you around, at the rate you're drinking.” Buck said, he shook hands with Dallas before walking away.

What Buck meant by that was Dal was my ‘babysitter’ for the night, just to keep people from bugging me and all.

Dallas usually was the one that kept an eye on me at Bucks parties anyway.

Dallas sat down on the stool that Buck was sitting on.

“What happened to your face?” I asked him, as I sipped my drink and finished my cigarette.

“Got in a fight with Tim Shepard, I slashed his tires.” Dallas let out a laugh.

He had a black eye forming.

“Why? Tim is a good guy.  While you were locked up, he saved me from getting jumped. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.” I rolled my eyes.

“I think he cracked some of my ribs, man.” Dallas winced, as he rubbed his side.

“That's what you get.  Don't get caught doing that shit.  You're lucky he didn't have a knife.” I laughed, as I finished my drink.

“Shut up,” Dallas laughed, “i'm ready for bed.”

“Fine, only cause I wanna lay down for a bit.” I groaned.

I finished my drink, and put my cigarette out.

Dallas wrapped his arm around me, as he led me through the crowd of drunk people up the stairs and to his room at Bucks.

Dallas shut the door behind him.

I took my shoes off, and threw my pants across the room.

Dallas took his shirt off, and handed it to me. I took off my own shirt and put his shirt on, before taking my bra off and throwing it by my pants.

He knows I like to wear a big shirt to bed, and I think he likes it when I wear his clothes anyway.

I laid on the bed on my left side, and propped my head up using my arm.

He sat on the bed next to me and rested his back on the wall.

“You know, I missed you when I was locked up.  I called you everyday, but was scared and hung up right away.” Dallas rubbed his face.

“Fuck you for waking me up that early every morning for the last three months,” I started.

Dallas looked at his hands in his lap as he bit his lip.

He looked somewhat ashamed, as he sat there quietly.

I looked at him for a moment before I spoke again.

I spoke in a softer tone this time,

“I would have picked the phone up.”

“Good,” he smiled and paused, “why were you pushing me away at the movies?”

“If I remember correctly, three years ago we made a deal that we would keep this a secret.  No one was supposed to know.” I cocked an eyebrow at him.

Dallas put his arm around me, and pulled me into his body.

“They are gonna find out eventually. I couldn't help it, you look so hot.” Dallas grabbed the back of my neck, and kissed me.

I began kissing him back, as he pulled me onto his lap.

His hands ran up, and down my body under my shirt.

“You sure about this?” Dallas asked me between kisses.

I nodded ‘yes’.
