"So please, I know you baby.
I know you baby..."~
Hermione
"Did you know Australia is wider than the moon?"
"Mhm."
"Did you know a shrimps heart is in its head?"
"Sure."
"Did you know there is more card deck combinations then there are atoms on earth?"
"Cool."
I finally sit up from the sofa in Leo's office and glare at him. We were supposed to be going to my apartment to grab some holiday decorations I wanted to add to the house. Plus after so many pleads from me to him we are going holiday shopping.
But it's already nearing three and I know Manhattan's traffic is getting crazy. Here we are in his dark office waiting on Leo to finish up paperwork.
"Hey Leo?" I ask getting a hum from him, "Can we have a Christmas party?" I ask as I walk over to him.
I watch as his eyes glue to the laptop I'm front of him as he types, "Sure." He replies and I smirk.
"I'm thinking about going skinny dipping in the indoor—"
"Think differently amore." Leo says as he finally looks up at me and I give him an amuse smile.
"So that you listen too?" I ask as he leans back in his chair.
"I was always listening, you were just not saying anything really." Leo answers causing me to glare at him as he smirks.
"Are you finished with whatever you're doing? I really want to get at least most of the shopping done."
Leo rubs his face, "Do we have to do the shopping? I usually send one of the housekeepers or one of the low ranks."
"Yes we do! It makes it more better when they open it and thank you! Except Charlotte she still believes in Santa so he gets some credit."
Leo rolls his eyes, "I'll be happy when she's over that fat guy. I never understood his significance of this holiday becoming so commercial. A fat guy breaking into your home and dropping off gifts. It's like a bordering the stalking territory."
I roll my eyes this time laughing, "Well Mr. Grinch hate Christmas or not. I am going to deck the halls and throw the best Christmas party the family has ever seen."
"I'm slightly fearing the party thing. But I want you to be happy around the holidays piccolo." Leo says as he gets up and walks over to me.
I smile as he pulls me to him, "Thank you Leo."
"Invite your mom to the party." Leo says abrupt taking me aback.
"Uh are you sure. This is the family's like safe place to be who they are. You know walking around freely talking about mafia stuff and shooting things."
Leo bursts into laughter, "That's not all we talk about."
"Well that's all I hear. Besides are you ready to meet my mom? She can be a bit nosey and full of a million questions."
"Hermione invite your mom. She's your only family, and like I said I want you to be happy. I need you to be happy amore. Your happiness matters the most to me." Leo explains as he caressed my cheek.
I blush as he looks down at me in a loving way, "Fine. But tell your men and the family to be normal. My mom would die of a heart attack if someone randomly start talking about an interrogation or something."
