"I knew I loved you then. But you'd never know."

Hermione

As the morning rays fall on my face I stir awake. My body stretches and reaches out for Leo's warm body. However to my dismay, his side is cold and empty. It's as if everything of last night never happened.

With annoyance I get out of bed, some parts of my body sore from last nights activities. I quickly get in the shower and wash my hair from all the hair spray Andrea used on it.

My mind wander to last night and I can't help but slightly smile at the feeling set in my stomach. Leo and I haven't been intimate the last few weeks and my body craved every inch of him. Satisfaction is an understatement of how my body feels.

However, it would have been great to wake up to him beside me. We could have made progress, and actually had a conversation about this distant and weird area our relationship is settled in.

I slide on a fluffy cardigan oversized, a simply black top, and denim jeans before heading downstairs.  As I approach the dining area the sounds of chatter and Charlotte's giggles grow. Turning the corner I was slightly  shocked to see Andrea at the table.

As I settle into my residing chair, I send her a knowing glance and smirk as I take in her attire. Andreas cheeks become a rose pink as she feeds herself a waffle. Her wild curls from last night is now a birds nest in a messy bun. She is clearly wearing Ricky's clothes that's like three times big on her.

"Good morning Minnie!" Charlotte greets me from the other end of the table as she waves excitedly with a big sticky smile on her face.

"Good morning princess! You liking the waffles aren't you?" I ask grinning at her innocence as she tries stuff a waffle in her mouth.

"Principessa, you know you're supposed to have me or daddy cut your food up first. You're going to get sticky all over." Christina chides as she wipes off her daughter gently.

"She will be fine, I'm sure there is an extra pair of clothes here she can change in. Relax and eat." Jackson says as he and Christina engage in a mini stare down.

In the end, like usual, Christina submits and begins to eat her food in silence.

One of the maids pour me a cup of coffee as she slides a full plate of waffles, eggs, bacon, and fruit in front of me. I flash her a thankful smile before blowing on my coffee.

Glancing over at Leo, I fight the urge to roll my eyes, as I watch his bushy brows furrow together as his attention locks onto his phone.

Ricky clears his throat gaining my attention as he looks over at me, "I just want to apologize Hermione for dropping you at a strange girls house—"

"I am not strange asshole." Andrea interjects and Ricky rolls his eyes.

"Again I'm sorry. It was a reckless thing to do knowing the pressing issues the family facing, and I was supposed to watch after you."

I place my mug down on the table, everyone's attention is now on us; even Leo's. Our eyes lock for a second as I glance his way.
