"When you look me in the eyes, and tell me that you love me, everything's alright when you're right here by my side."~
Hermione
My eyes slowly peel open and light blinds me instantly. I close my eyes quickly and groan feeling my body stretch the aches away.
When I open my eyes I am met with big brown ones; Leo.
"Are you okay? Do you need some water?" He asks and is nod feeling my throat dry as a desert.
He hands me a glass of water and I take big sips of the room temperature water. I finish the glass as it quenches my thirst exceptionally.
Leo takes the glass and sat it down on the night stand. As he faces me a finally notices a scar on his eyebrow.
"Oh my god are you okay?" I ask concerned as I lightly graze the scar with my finger tips.
"Hermione, are you okay? Do you not remember what happened?" Leo asks and take my brain for an answer.
"What's the last thing you remember?" He asks grabbing my hands .
"We went shopping." I answer and Leo nods before grabbing his phone.
"I'm calling the doctor." He says before walking out on the balcony as he pulls out his phone.
I try me best to remember everything. But it's all a haze memory floating in my brain. All I can remember is a woman's eyes. Eyes that looked like mine.
"The doctor is on his way." Leo informs as he enters the room again.
"You forget I am a doctor. I am perfectly capable of nursing myself."
Leo smiles slightly as he gazes me deeply. His facial features marks a man in deep turmoil, in war with himself.
"Leo what's wrong?" I ask concerned of his physical and emotional state, "What happened yesterday?"
"Hermione—"
A knock on the door ceased his words. Gia opens the door her entering the room.
"The doctor is here. But you also have a phone call."
"I'll call them back or have Jack take it. Send the doctor up here." Leo says crossing his arms.
"Jack went to picking up Charlotte. But they want to speak to you directly." Gia replies pointedly glancing my way.
"I'll call them back." Leo says before turning back to me.
"Leo take the phone call. It must be important if you're the only one that has to answer it. I'll be fine alone with the doctor. I can manage." I voice as I grab his hand squeezing gently.
"Fine, but Gia will stay with you. You're not to be alone anymore." Leo orders as he walks towards his sister.
"She's not a child Leo." Gia says rolling her eyes.
"I second that statement." I add and Leo rolls his eyes.
"Stay with her." He demands and Gia rolls her eyes before nodding.
Leo leaves and seconds later the doctor enters the room with Gia and I. As soon as he enters he got straight to work. Checking my sight, and stitches that are in my head. Gia stood with her arms crossed staring at me with a heated gaze, as if I'm some magical creature that would disappear if she blinks.
"Can you tell me what happened?" I ask aloud killing the tense silence.
I didn't care if Gia or the doctor answered me. But judging by the share slanted looks they gave each other, they both knew something.
