Yakap-yakap ang tuhod at nakatulala ako habang nakaupo sa lapag sa gilid ng kama ko. I can hear the whistling of the wild and cold wind, I can feel it brushing on my skin and from the darkness of my room. I could see the bright stars shining from above the sky.

I closed my eyes tightly and sighed.

Am I mad with the possibility of him having a child? No.

But thinking of it made my head ache. He lied to me. If he had a child, does that mean he has a girlfriend? Or wife? Did he cheat?

Am I confused? Yes.

"Angel, hindi ka ba maghahapunan?" his voice, even from the outside soothed me but the pain of confusion on my chest's stronger than it.

Hindi ako sumagot, nagpapanggap na tulog.

I can see his shadow from outside the door, standing for a few moments until my phone lit up from a message.

Punta lang ako pabalik sa bahay para tumulong sa plano ng Agri week. Dito ako matutulog mamaya sa guestroom para may kasama ka. Kapag nakatulog ako at may kailangan ka katok ka lang :)
