Haruun Kal, the homeplanet of Mace Windu, is a difficult place to navigate, which is what makes it the most perfect place to hide a base. We fly over acres of dense jungle, before landing on the only habitable area of the planet, Korunnal Highland. If Luminara was telling us the truth, this is where they should be hiding.

I was surprised when the Grand Inquisitor allowed me to go on this mission with him, especially when he told me in front of Fifth Brother, who at the time had been gloating about his return to Tatooine to complete our previous mission (the news quickly wiped the smug smile off his face). I thought that, after the lies Fifth Brother told Vader about me, I would have been under a strict lockdown, stuck in the fortress with nothing but menial tasks to complete. Hopefully, this is a sign that they are beginning to trust me more.

The ramp lowers and we step off the ship, the Grand Inquisitor and I up front, the small army of stormtroopers we had brought with us follow closely behind, being led by the only three remaining clone troopers in the Imperial forces. When the Empire first rose to power, rumours began to surface that they could no longer afford to mass produce clone troopers. Apparently the creation period was far too long so they opted for an easier approach and began recruiting people off the streets to be the new and 'improved' stormtroopers. This new approach meant that many clone troopers were let go, many of them sent to the streets, the Empire having no use for them anymore. I've often crossed paths with them on my excursions across the galaxy, and sometimes I can't help but wonder if they were the ones that murdered my master.

However, what made me most curious was why these three clones in particular were kept to fight by Vader's side. What is their importance? Do they know something? I have to get to the bottom of this little mystery.

Where Vader went, Rex, Cody and Fives usually followed, except for the odd occasion like today.

We continue to walk across the grassy planes of the planet until we reach a small village on the outskirts of the highlands. The village reminds me of the places I used to stay before I became an inquisitor. I wonder if I hadn't gone down the path of vengeance would I be here now, cowering in a hut like the current residents are.

Miro reaches forward and knocks on the door, an unusually polite gesture from a grand inquisitor but Miro is a strange person. His actions are always calculated and well thought out, as if his anger is not his main driving force, like it is for so many of the other inquisitors. A small woman answers the door, her hands appear to shake as she pulls it open. "How can I help you today, sir." Her voice quivers.

"We are looking for a specific group of fugitives. People who have denounced the way of the Empire."

"I'm sorry but I don't know anything about that." That was the wrong thing to say.

"Well then I'm sorry for what I have to do next," He ignites his lightsaber and aims it at the woman, who stands up straight, preparing for her fate. I want to applaud this woman because for all the fear she clearly feels she is willing to die for the rebels, with her head held high. Unfortunately for her, the Empire doesn't take kindly to people who are accepting of their deaths, they like to see the fear flash through their victims' eyes. Miro lowers his lightsaber and instead raises his hand, pulling forth the young man who thought he was hidden behind the door to the other room. He drags his feet and tries to grab hold of something to keep him tethered inside, but it's no use. The grand inquisitor is too powerful. He stops him right in front of him. The young man wears a small patch just below his shoulder. The insignia of the rebel alliance. "Show us where they are and we might consider letting you go."
