Warning: Nothing Really
╚══《✧》══╝
"Shit!" I practically shout as the metal disk of the holoprojector grazes past my arm. My exclamation comes mostly out of shock than actual pain, shock from opening the door to enter the training room and being immediately assaulted by pieces of flying metal.
Despite my ever growing hatred for Vader I know this attack was accidental. I just got in the way of his temper tantrum. I entered the room at the wrong time. The only reason it didn't hit me much harder was because I felt the force crackle around it, him stopping it from hurting me. He probably only did that so he didn't have to find a new replacement grand inquisitor.
Fives, who is standing next to me, stares at Vader, shocked by his outburst. I'm sure Fives has seen him act similarly before but this is so over the top. He is demolishing the entire room, throwing away the only thing that we can use to contact Rex; the only thing that we can use if Rex tries to contact us.
Vader is seething with untamed rage. I can feel it coming off him in waves.
When he finishes smashing everything in sight, the room falls into an all encompassing silence, the only sound being Vader's heavy breathing as he struggles to contain his rage, his chest rising and falling rapidly. Fives and I look at each other with wide eyes. I don't know how he managed to work so close to this man for so long without being murdered.
"Fuck." Fives whispers into the quiet.
"What are we going to do? We have to do something." I hate just waiting around for something to happen but without direct orders we aren't allowed to do anything.
"We are not going to do anything. I am going down to the underworld myself and I will find him."
"I er don't think that's a good idea sir." Fives says, scratching the back of his head uncomfortably, clearing not wanting to disagree with Vader when he is in this mood, despite them having a close relationship.
"And what do you think?" He turns to me. "Do yours think it's a good idea?" Vader asks, sneering while he speaks. I know he's baiting me. I know he wants me to disagree but I think, in his anger, he'll just get Rex hurt and I like Rex.
"Not really. I think Fives and I should go."
"The grand inquisitor doesn't think my idea is a good one," He laughs but it's humorless. "Do I need to remind you that I hold all the power in this situation, that what I say goes."
"Yes Lord Vader but you asked me a question and I answered it honestly. It's not my fault that you didn't like my response."
"I'd watch what I was saying if I were you. As soon as Miro is able to, he will return to his position as grand inquisitor and you will be nothing once more."
The word nothing echoes around my head, causing my anger to rise up to the surface. Thankfully, Fives steps into the conversation before I am able to say something I will regret.
"Take it easy, sir. It's not (y/n)'s fault that Rex was kidnapped." He walks over to Vader and places his hand lightly on his shoulder. I'm shocked by the bravery of that man. "We need to focus all of our energy on helping Rex, not these pointless arguments."
