"What in the stars happened here?" Fives asks.

"It's a long story. We found the thief and then lost the thief. She must have had help because one minute we were contacting you for help escorting the prisoner back to base and the next minute I'm waking up on the ground."

"Oh shit."

"Yup. Vader's going to kill me but hopefully once I find Fifth Brother, the blame will be put on him." At his glare, "what a girl can dream, right?"

"Riiigghhhtttt. Good luck with that one." He glances down at the body of Kallus on the floor and presses his boot into his side, slowly kicking him until he is lying on his back and not his front. "Oh he's still alive. I guess I'll have to babysit this one while you go and find Fifth Brother. I'll also try and round up as many of the thief's allies as I can from the village so that we don't return to the fortress completely empty handed. This is now Empire business so they'll have to let me into the village."

"Has anyone ever told you that you're the best Fives?"

As it turns out, I don't have to walk very far before I hear the faint crackle of my comlink and a voice that sounds all too familiar.

"Sister... are you there? Can you hear me?" Fifth Brother's voice comes faintly from the device, he sounds weak. Good. That's what he gets for being such a dick and abandoning his post.

"I'm here. Where the fuck are you?"

"Near the Westhills village. There is... no was a cave. I was walking through it when... Look, it doesn't matter. The cave collapsed and I'm trapped. Just hurry up and come get me."

The cave? So he never even made it past the village. What an idiot.

"What were you doing in that area anyway? The post I had assigned you was too far from the cave for you to accidentally wander into it."

"Listen sister," His tone has taken on a threatening edge, as if he is in any position to threaten me, "We don't have time for your petty squabbles. I'm trapped and I need you to come and find me."

"I think the word you're looking for is you want me to rescue you. And fine I will do it but the next time I assign you a post you listen to me and stick to it."

The call cuts off abruptly and I roll my eyes at his childishness, before heading back the way I came, towards the cave.

The journey itself doesn't take me long at all, but now as I stare at the completely blocked 'entrance' to the cave I realize the hard part has only just begun. Even as I use the force to gently move the rocks, more fall into place and by the time I eventually clear a space big enough for me to crawl through, it must have been at least half an hour.

I continue to crawl through the narrow corridors of the cave for a few more minutes until I reach a cavern, tall enough for me to stand up. I hear a consistent drip drip of water falling and the occasional sound of small rocks crumbling from the ceiling, making the need to find Fifth Brother more important than ever because from the sounds of it, this cave could fall on my head at any given moment.

Brother where are you?

And then that's when I hear it. The sound of heavy footsteps heading in my direction, the stomps of heavy duty boots on rock before the familiar face of the man I am looking for appears before me from around the slight corner. When Fifth Brother sees me he pauses for a second, before looking quickly over his shoulder. Without me even saying a single word, he pushes me into a small crevice in the side of the cave, a tight squeeze that I hadn't previously noticed, barely big enough for one person, and definitely a struggle for two adults.
