There were no stairs, no ladder, not even another door oh no. On the other side was a different world. A different world with different trees and with different plants. Milly pushed me from behind and I looked back. She looked up to me and waved her hand at me, wanting me to be the first one threw the door.

Taking a deep breath and closing my eyes as I walked through. Peeking them open I looked around. Letting out the breath I was holding I took a few steps more and could not believe my eyes. Quickly taking off my glasses I cleaned them just to be sure it wasn't them being dirty. Then I rubbed my eyes. It was not a trick either.

"It's safe to come through guys." I said turning to my cousins.

They all walked through and the door closed behind them. We looked all around this small area we appeared in. Trees that were different shades of purple, green, and orange. Not to mention the brown ones that had what seemed to be nuts. Bushes with different styled leaves and some had weird berries.

Walking over to a dark brown colored tree I picked a dark brown small circle from its branch. Pushing it in it broke and a dark brown liquid came oozing onto my fingers. Out of curiosity, and being weird, I brought up one of the fingers covered in the liquid and gave it a small taste. My eyes immediately flew open and I cleaned off the rest of my hand. This tastes just like liquid chocolate! Taking the shell I bit into that and it was chocolate as well! This place is amazing!

"Guys I just found a chocolate tree!" I said to everyone.

They all came over and tried for themselves and I saw their eyes widen at the amazing taste. I was brought out of the trance though as I heard something from not that far off. Walking into the bushes I went through them until I came to a clearing by a stream. I had to cover my own mouth in fear of what I saw.

There were 5 cages around person height, maybe one or two feet higher and in each one had the same kind of animal. They seemed to have a large body and the size of an elk or moose, but it also seemed sleek like a wolf or a big cat. Upon their head were antlers with two branches and webbing was between that and it had a one in the farthest back one. The weirdest and most fascinating part of them is their huge bat-like wings and aquatic tail and talon-like feet. And each one was a different color and they seemed to have a huge variety.

My eyes however were trained on a mint colored one. She was covered in scars and could barely stand. A person walked over to her and jabbed a stick into her side. The creature arched her back and let out a wolf-like howl of pain. I was so close to tears seeing them like this.

The bushes behind me rustled and I was scared that I was found. When I turned around however I saw it was just my cousin who caught up with me. Still trying not to cry I pulled back a bit of the bush and let them see. They all let out a small gasp of horror, but we all quieted down when two people walked over near us.

"Where are they going again?" One asked.

"Let's see," said the other flipping through papers, "A chief needed one for his underground restaurant, one for races, gonna be drugged to lose though, one for pit fights, and the other two are trophy kills."

With each place that the man listed off I was getting more and more pissed. My hands were curling into balls, I was gritting my teeth, I had to do something. Looking around my eyes landed in front of me at a sword one of them set down in the ground. Sharing a look with Liam and Via they could see what I wanted to do. They mouth 'no' and 'stop' at me but I didn't. Scooting more towards the sword I grabbed it and stood up.

Using the handle I hit them in the head and took off their hoods. I was shocked again. These were not humans! They seemed to be a hybrid of a cat and a humanized porcupine. Sharing a last look with my family Liam and James got up and the girls stayed in the bush.
