Leaving the barn with my head spinning I walked over to Crystal's pen and walked in. This was so much to take in. Not only do we need to repopulate but now heal the actual land? I feel like we're starting to take more bites than we can chew. Letting out a sigh I looked over to Crystal and started to pet her head.

"I don't know if I can do all of this girl." I said frowning. "I have to not only breed animals, but also heal the land, and I'm also trying this mate thing with Jason! It's starting to sound like a bit too much."

Hearing footsteps I looked up and saw it was Jason. He smirked down at me and walked into the pen. Sitting down next to me I just looked down and let out a sigh.

"I kinda overheard you talking to Crystal." He said, twitching his ear and wrapping his tail around my waist. "Kinda weird, but I'm getting used to the idea. I just came over here to let you know you're not the only one that has to do all this, you got me, and your family. But since I have a feeling they're gonna be gone more often, Hondu, Nadel, and I talked about bringing more creatures to help out around here."

"Really?" I said looking up and pushing up my glasses, he nodded. "What would they do here?"

"They would help clean, feed the animals, wash them, care for them, and gather food and resources." Jason said, kissing my forehead.

"More help does sound nice." I smiled up at him.

Jason stood up and helped me. Hearing voices and footsteps I looked out into the clearing and saw quite a few creatures. Walking out I saw Hondu and Nadel where with them and my cousins were here as well.

"Meet the new helpers." Nadel said, smiling at my cousins and I. "This is Kaboom." A small boy with cat ears and a tail. "Hanaca." A girl with bird wings. "And Kreacher." a bear with a missing eye. "And Shaya." the small lioness girl from before.

"My name is Abby." I said introducing myself. "These are my cousins Liam, James, Via, and Milly."

"Nice to meet you all." Kreatcher said.

"Are there any animals that need help?" Shaya said, bouncing up and down.

"Well Jason and I just bought some in." I said as I fixed my glasses.

Leading Shaya and Kaboom over to the small pens I looked behind me real quick to see everyone either talk or walk off to look around. Jason also was following me and we walked over to the small pen that had the animals that we just brought in. Grabbing my book from Crystal's pen on our way over, I opened it and started to write things down as the two children walked over to them.

Something told me these were called Kozons. They were very small and very cute, the size of a small dog. It looked like it was one but mixed with a cat as well. Finishing writing I put the book down and got in the pen with them. The brown male and gray female came up to me and started to lick me all over and I smiled and giggled.

"These are so cute!" Shaya said. "Do you think I could have one to keep around just for me?"

"Sure." I said leaving the pen. "Once they start having babies that is."

Hearing some small kind of whine sound I looked back in the pen and saw the brown male and gray female scratching at the door looking at me. Looking at them smiling I reached in and picked them up. They were so soft and so cute. Maybe I could keep them as companions.

"Haha, I think they like you." Jason said from my side.

"I think so too." I smiled. "I think I'm gonna call the brown one Blackstripe and the gray Smoke."

Setting them down they started to play with each other and run around my feet. Since we were by the small pens I walked over to the one with the Bunnats and looked in. Hazle was still in here and so were her babies. They already grew to about a third of the size of the adults and somewhere eating from the food pile, they must be too old for milk now.

Smiling, I reached in and Hazel hopped over and I picked her up and she went to my shoulder. I'm getting quite a few pets in this land, so far I have Crystal, Hazle, and now Blackstripe and Smoke.

"Shaya was it?" I asked the small lion girl and she nodded. "You can make sure they all have plenty of food and water, and after that you could always go pick more food from the bushes and trees."

She happily nodded and ran off and I picked up Smoke and Blackstripe, while balancing Hazel on my shoulder. I walked off towards my treehouse, with all these animals I would want them in my space so they don't run off and get killed or lost.

"Where ya going kitty?" Jason said as he ran up to my side, smirking at me.

"Up to my treehouse so I can make these guys comphy," I said then gave him a sideways glance. "Also why are you still calling me kitty?"

"Its cute, you have a feisty temper which I like and it goes with the name, and it just always makes me think of when I first met you." He said looking down and rubbing the back of his neck.

Smiling and kissing his cheek I noticed we made it to the bottom of the stairs. Going up I made sure not to drop any of my pets and I heard Jason coming up behind me. Entering my treehouse I noticed it didn't really even have much in here. Setting the animals down I looked around for what I could use for a bed for them.

Jason walked over to the huge amount of fluff and I saw him start to mold something.

"What are you doing?" I asked, walking over.

"Well your animals need somewhere to sleep so I'm molding the fluff." He explained as he made some brown fluff in a bed-like shape.

"You can do that with the fluff?" I said looking at it surprised.

"Oh yeah, you can change the density of it, the fluine is just something that makes it easier."

I saw Jason finish and it just looked like a flat circle. Touching it though it still felt soft to the touch. Smiling, I took some black floof and made it into a flatten circle and did the same with some white. Now having beds for my animals I set them down along the wall to the right of my bed.

This world is very different from mine. Not only with the animals and the plants, but also with things as small as molecules. There's so much to learn.

"What else can you do with the fluff?" I asked Jason, who was picking up Blackstripe.

"Oh there's a lot." He said with a half smile and half frown. "Since you can change the density you can make things to sleep on, make it into rope, flatten it out to make clothes. The creatures here however don't waste a bit of it and would kill the animals to get every last bit though."

He looked down and frowned and I could tell he was getting upset. I could never imagine how his life was growing up. Walking over to him I took Blackstripe and set him on his brown bed and turned back to Jason and hugged him. He seemed shocked and almost jumped out of my arms, but the next second he hugged back.

"I never wanted to kill animals," He said in my hair, "I only did it to make my 'father' proud of me. Afterwards, I only felt guilt and remorse for what I had done. The humans of the past told tales of animals that looked like me and others of this land being hunted and almost whipped out. I never wanted to do what humans did to my creatures to our animals, I don't want them gone."

"Oh Jason." I hugged him tighter and he was the one to break apart.

"With me helping you though, it's teaching me there's always a new way to get things done. Ways that don't involve killing, or violence, or blood." Jason smiled at me, swishing his tail.
