DELANEY HENDERSON, MUCH LIKE HER little brother, his friends, and the other teens Nancy, Robin, and newly graduated Steve, they had all been through something that she could only quite literally describe as... the un-explainable. And why she chose that word? Because if she even tried to explain something like this to anyone who hadn't experienced it, they would lock her up in Pennhurst and throw away the key.
After the Byers and Eleven moved away to California, and Billy Hargove and Chief Jim Hopper lost their lives the night of the battle with the Mind Flayer at Starcourt, everyone still residing in Hawkins truly felt like maybe everything would be okay now. They thought since they killed the Mind Flayer that they closed the doorway to the Upside Down and it's sinister creatures for good.
Atleast that was what they hoped.
Now being an 18 year old senior in high school at Hawkins High, a varsity cheerleader, and also the writer and or book nerd that she's always been, she finally felt that her life was going to finally go back to normal. But of course, she was wrong, she was always wrong when it came to the interdimensional world underneath the town of Hawkins and everything that comes with it.
Just like clockwork there was yet another a bone chilling adventure in the wake, and this time they were gaining a new member of the small circle of people who knew about the happenings of the town.
And of course it had to be the one boy in the school that she had a massive from afar crush on...
Eddie fucking Munson.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, the D&D and guitar playing metal head of her dreams somehow wound up getting into the crosshairs of an interdimensional murder mystery. The only thing was, while the entire town is gunning for him, she's the only one who knows him to be innocent, all because of the simple fact that she was there with him.
With a brand new interdimensional big bad wreaking havoc and death around the small town, and all of their lives being at risks from the dangers lurking in every corner, the heroes of Hawkins, and well, the world, must come together once again to save the place that they all called their home.
