It was a journal about friendship, courtship, falling in love, and some heartaches and heartbreaks. How can they survive their daily struggles and challenges in life? Will they survive or be forever on their dark side of life?
This is the day that I was going they will operate on my brains. All of the test came back negative and I'm good to go. I was a little bit scared but it's okay. I can do this! With or without my loved ones around me.
While I was sitting on my hospital bed and waiting for the go sign that I will be taken in the operating room. I was thinking If ever I survive this operation what will I going to do? Will I be able to remember all of things that I learn and the people I meet along the way? It's still a mystery for me. How can a person loses his or her memory in just a blink of the eye?
While thinking I heard a door crack open and when I look it's my handsome doctor. "Hello! Sexy, are you ready for our date today? You look so beautiful and perfect. I love your outfit it's fabulous." he told me. "Crazy! Juan, alam mo naman na ooperahan mo ako hindi tayo magdadate. In your dreams! Juan" I told him while smiling at him.
"Okay, fine, ito naman hindi mabiro. Pero kung hindi mo ako nireject baka boyfriend mo na ako ngayon o finance mo na ako o asawa mo na ako at nagaalaga ka na ng mga anak natin." sabi niya. Grabe talaga ang fighting spirit nitong kaibigan ko. Pero totoo naman kung hindi ko ireject siya baka kami ang nagkatuluyan hindi ang ibang lalaki. Gosh! Sana dumating siya ng mas maaga. Kasi kung hindi ninyo naitatanong na rich kid rin ito. Kamag anak ba naman si Bill Gates ang pota!Tapos may pumasok na nurse just check on my vitals and check if I ready to go.
"So, Sexy, okay na lahat ng test mo at negative naman. Ready?" tanong niya. "Juan, sana maging successful yung operation mo sa akin. Sana walang mangyari masama habang nasa operating table ako. Ikaw na ang bahala sa akin. I'll give my life in your arms. I love you Juan as my guy bestfriend" sabi ko. "Ouch naman! Huwag mo naman ipamukha na hanggang magkaibigan na lang tapos at hindi na puwede ilevel up pa. Ang sakit mo magsalita pero kidding aside. Ako na bahala sa iyo hindi ko yayaan na may mangyari sa iyo na masama habang nasa operating table kita. Mahal na mahal kita Brianna hindi lang kaibigan ko kung hindi ang isang tao mahal ko at gusto ko pakasalan someday"sabi niya.
While the nurse is checking on me and Juan is reading on my chart. I feel somwthing that someone is watching or just thinking of me. I hope it's god's sign that everything will be fine on my operation.
"So, sexy, let's go! Let's start our date." he told me while smiling and blinking his eyes on me. "I'm ready Sweetie, let's start our date." I told him. While everybody is busy doing their things on me.I was just staring at the white ceiling of the hospital. I was just praying to god that I hope everything will go on according to Juan's plan today. But I was always thanking god that he gives me life and experience everything I experience while I was still alive.
"Ms. Brianna, it's okay if I put you to sleep. Just imagine a very peaceful place with a handsome guy like me." he told me. Gosh! Puro ba maghahangin ang mga tao dito. Pero totoo yung sinabi niya na kailangan ko magrelax para magawa nila yung dapat nila gawin sa akin." Yes, I'm ready to go to sleep. Thank you and please take care of me? "I told him." I will take care of you and a pleasure being your anesthetologist today. "he told me.
Just it I was already in dream land. Exploring a lot of things in my dreams. Thinking of all the people that I need to remember and all the people that I will meet after my operation.
I just woke up on a very nice dream that I finally have a quiet and peaceful dream that I don't want to wake up. When I open my eyes. I was looking at ceiling and I saw someone a nurse that is checking on my dextrose and some wires that was on my chest ans every part of my body. When she saw me open my eyes. She push some button on my back. That's was I already saw some doctors that rushing to get inaide my hospital room and start checking me. Then I saw this handsome man that I didn't remember. They start to pull the tube inside my mouth and I start coughing and they told me to relax and breathe.
"Finally, you are awake my sexy. How's your sleep? Was it peaceful in your dreams?" he keep on asking me. "It's a very peaceful dream and enjoy it." I told him. "Okay, let me introduce myself I'm Doctor Juan Carlos Enriquez, I'm your neurosurgeon. The operation is successful and remove all the turmor inside your head. You're all set to go but first just take rest so that you can recover on your surgery." he told me." Okay, thank you Doctor Enriquez. But can I ask you something? Why did you called me Sexy? Who are you? Are you related to me and my family if I have one? "I asked him." No, we are not related in blood but I was one of your guy bestfriend. "he told me." Okay, I'm really sorry I can't remember anyone right now. "I told him." It's okay it's part of the healing process. Don't worry you will remember everything that you used to remember. "he told me. That makes me relax a bit.
After he examined me. He left me because he have a next surgery that will going to do. He kiss me on the forehead. That makes me happy but I don't know why he do that. Is he knows me that much?
So after the doctors and nurse check on me they leave me alone in my room. I just look outside my room and admire the view of New York. At least I know where I'm was. I just looking at my window and the door just open and there was Doc Juan holding a book. "Here read this book because it will help your mind works." he told me and hand me the book. "Thank you so much doc juan. I appreciate it. Don't worry I will read it." I told him.

I hope it will help my mind work now that the operation si successful. Doc Juan just stares at me and pat my head. "Just relax your mind and not think a lot. Enjoy your second life." he told me. "I will surely enjoy my second life now and explore the world outside my hospital room. Thanks again."I told him." I leave you now. Next monday you will be discharge. I will drop you in your apartment. If you didn't know where is your apartment. "he told me."Thank ypu so much for your help." I told him. That it he left me alone. I was just staring at the book. How can read this book? Maybe I just relax my mind before reading it?
