Callison got home around four. She was thinking of the odd boy named Charlie whilst thinking about her date on Friday.

Crap. She remembered, I don't have anything good to wear on Friday.

"Mom, I'm home." She shook her idiotic thought away as she opened the door to her home.

"Callison, did you get the pack of chocolates I told you to buy?" A voice from the kitchen asked as she closed the door.

"Yeah, Mom. I was gonna buy only one because it was the only one I saw but the cashier got me one more." Callison walked into the kitchen and placed the packs of chocolate on the counter.

The kitchen was newly renovated. With the doorway clearly visible at the doorstep, it looked modernized. The counter table sat at the center of the room while four chairs surrounded it. The sides were where the counter tops and cabinets laid with the stove and fridge. A small door stood by the stove and led to an ominous garden.

"Well, sweetie. You can share that half-eaten pack with your brother." Callison's mother smiled sweetly, pulling her black hair up in a messy bun. She straightened her apron and went back to baking cookies for her friends who were arriving some time later.

"Okay, Mom." Callison tied her hair to a ponytail while climbing up the stairs leading to the upper floor where her room was.

She knocked on the first door at the right. On it was a sign that said, 'Keith's room. Knock before opening.'
The door opened up, revealing a teenage boy with messy black hair wearing pajamas. "What do you want Cal?"

"Here's some chocolate, Keith." Callison threw the half-eaten pack of chocolates at her brother who caught it at the last second.

"Thanks. Good Morning then." Keith yawned as he stretched his arms upward.

"It's already four-fifteen. Don't you have a date with Kathy at five?"

"Oh crap!" Keith went back in and slammed the door shut. The sound of someone cursing while putting on clothes could be heard from outside.

Callison sighed and went to her room. She slumped on a bean bag chair placed carelessly on the floor. Her room was rather spacious.

Her bed was one of those beds where you have to climb up to get on the mattress. Underneath that was a desk, a few shelves, a few cabinets and a rack all connected to the bed. There was a big carpet that surrounded a huge part of the room. There, lay two bean bag chairs, a side table and a small stack of magazines.

The window was covered by a pink and white curtain that hung from the ceiling unto the floor. Small spiral papers hung on the ceiling as the wind from the opened window made them move. Various posters filled the purple wall. At the corner was a huge closet where Callison's clothes and dresser laid.

"I should call Penny." Callison said as she clutched a pink bunny stuffed toy. Her phone suddenly rang before she thought of calling.

"Hello?" She answered the phone.

"Callison. It's me, Sky." The voice from the other line seemed to have been chuckling.

"I know. I saw your name."

"So, I have something important to tell you."

"What is it?" Callison sat up and slowly made her way to the computer on her desk.

"I go-" The line suddenly went off. Callison sighed. For a boyfriend, he sure knows how to give suspense to everything.

Callison booted up the computer and went to video call Penny. She then sat up as she went to her closet.
