Callison stood by the entrance of the mall while checking her phone.

She was wearing a short pink dress with a brown ribbon by the collar line and a pair of brown sandals.

Lots of people gave her a look of admiration but she didn't see it. She was too busy looking at her phone and fiddling with her braided hair.

"Sky still hasn't texted me. I wonder what he was gonna say to me." Callison thought.

Just by the distance, a girl with brown hair tied in a side ponytail wearing a white shirt over a black tank top and skirt marched towards the entrance. Her black boots crunched as she walked but she didn't mind.

Callison managed to see her as she looked away from her phone. Her eyes widened.

"Oh, if it isn't Callison Von Rue." The girl crossed her arms as she stood in front of Callison. She took off her sunglasses and smiled.

"What's with the formality, Claire?" Callison smiled back at her old friend.

"I haven't seen you in forever! How's Penny and Sarah?" Claire asked as she hugged Callison tenderly.

"They're fine. What about you? I haven't heard from you since you changed schools with Kara. By the way, is she still stuck up?"

"Kara? Yes. Ever since we ended up on the same class in the same school, she's been following me and trying to meddle with my life." Claire placed a hand on her hip.

"We never liked Kara." Callison straightened her dress.

"Who likes that bi-"

"Language!" Callison interrupted.

"You're still that goody-two shoes we love."

"Haha."

"Well, I have to go. I have to meet with my mom here. I'll see you later." Claire waved as she went through security and into the cold air of the mall.

Callison sighed happily. It was really nice for her to see an old friend. Claire might seem as though she's stuck up, but she's actually a nice girl.

Even though she was rich and an only child, she knows how to be down-to-earth and loving.

Callison smiled as she remembered a memory with Claire. But before she could fully reminisce, Callison heard her name being called out.

"Callison!" Someone shouted.

Callison didn't bother turning to the direction of the voice. She already knew it was Penny.

Penny wore a pair of jeans and a black shirt that said "I dare you to look" in red ghoulish paint.

"Where's Sarah, Penny?" Callison asked.

"Her boss asked her to work over-time, which I'm pretty sure is not allowed. But Sarah is so nice she accepts wholeheartedly." Penny crossed her arms.

She looked around and noticed something.

"Do you get the feeling that we're being watched?" Penny asked while looking at everyone near her.

"Yes. Because they are watching us. Because we're blocking the mall entrance." Callison rolled her eyes.

A security guard went towards them. "Ma'am. I would kindly ask you to stop blocking the door if you're not going inside."

"Uh, we're going inside. Sorry for the trouble." Callison gripped Penny's arm. "Let's go, Penny."

As the two awkwardly waltzed in the mall, two boys who sat on a bench lowered their newspapers and stared at them. It was no doubt Charlie and Kevin.
