Maxine and Adira rang the door bell to the Henderson household. Maxine seemed freaked out beyond belief while Adira still had tears pouring down her face. Dustin opened the door with a look of confusion which quickly turned to a look of shock as he saw the two girls standing at his door.

He didn't know what to say to either of them as they stood before him, so he moved out of the way and quickly let them inside.

---------------

"Chrissy Cunningham?" Dustin asked, his voice sound of disbelief as he listened to what Max had told him. Adira was just sitting down on the couch, her face buried in her hands as she struggled to hold back her sobs, "you are sure that it was Chrissy?"

"Yes, she was in her cheerleader outfit. the same thing she was in when I saw her with Eddie," Maxine repeated to Dustin who just couldn't manage to believe what Maxine was telling him. Maxine was standing next to Adira, her hand on her shoulder while Dustin paced around his lougeroom

"Did you tell all of this to the cops?" Dustin asked her with a small sigh

"no," Maxine quickly answered as she shook her head, "no, but I... Adira and I couldn't have been the only ones who saw them together," Maxine tried to reason. Adira was in no state to talk to the cops at that moment, and Maxine doubted that the police would want to hear what either of them had to say, "i mean they stood out! When I saw Adira get out of his van last night I almost dropped dead from surprise."

"Eddie the freak with Chrissy the cheerleader?" Dustin asked once more, his tone still full of disbelief which was beginning to get on Adira's nerves.

"Bloody hell Henderson, it was Chrissy, I was with them on the way there, and I know what my best friend looks like alright, I saw her. Dead on your friends floor," Adira snapped at the younger boy as she brought her face away from her hands and looked over at him.

Dustin quickly rose his hands in defence and nodded his head.

"Exactly. I mean, his name isn't in the news or anything yet, but I guarantee you Eddie is suspect one now," Maxine tells Dustin with certainty

"That is crazy! Eddie didn't do this. No way!" Dustin exclaimed as he looked between max and Adira, "come on Adira, you can't honestly think that Eddie, Eddie Munson, would actually be capable of doing something like this?" Dustin asked her, "no way."

"I agree with Dustin," Adira spoke up as she finally stood up off the couch, "I don't think that Eddie would have done this... hell I don't think any person could have done this."

Max looked at her best friend with disbelief, "well we can't rule it out!" Max yelled, trying to be the only reasonable person in the room

"Yes we can!" Dustin exclaimed, thinking only on his feelings

"Dustin!" Max and Adira yelled

"Maxine is also right, while I don't think that he did it, and I believe in the whole innocent until proven guilty, but we still need to list him as a suspect, and I still need to find out what happened to my best friend," Adira begged the boy

"No way. You guys don't know him like I do!" Dustin tried to argue. He felt bad for Adira, but there was no way that he was going to consider that Eddie had done it, "okay? When we got to high school, Lucas made all of his sports friends. Mike and me? I mean, no one was nice to us except for Adira and we couldn't even hang out with her because she's friends with a bunch of assholess besides Robin-"

"And Chrissy," Adira choked out but Dustin just ignored her and continued what her had to say

"The only person besides Adira who was nice to us was Eddie." Dustin said, glaring over at Max

"Okay. Well are we gonna take notice of the fact that they said the same exact shit about Ted Bundy? I'm sure his girl didn't think Bundy was capable of it either," Adira snapped over at Dustin. She was mad, mad that Dustin didn't even care that Chrissy was dead, that she was brutally murdered, "yeah he was like a super fucking nice guy but then he is murdering women on the weekend for a hobby."

"So you are saying Eddie is like Ted Bundy?" Dustin asked sarcastically, practically scoffing at the thought

"No that- I'm not saying that. I'm saying that we can't presume anything, okay?" Adira stuttered out. Dustin just rolled his eyes and sat down

"Look she's saying that we can't just presume anything okay?" Maxine backed up Adira, warning a small smile from the girl, "But at the moment this doesn't look good for Eddie."

None of them said anything for a few moments, all of them standing there in awkward silence before Dustin quickly looked up with confusion

"Wait. Why haven't you told the cops this?" Dustin asked. Maxine and Adira shared a small look which Dustin quickly understood, "what are you not telling me? Why haven't you told the cops."

"I... I don't know," Maxine muttered out whole Adira looked down at her shoes, playing with the bracelet on her wrist

"You don't know?" Dustin asked in a sarcastic tone, glaring slightly at both of the girls. He couldn't understand what the hall that weren't telling him but there was obviously more to it if they weren't telling the cops

Maxine let's out a small sigh and goes and sits down next to Dustin, lowering her voice, "After I saw Eddie and Chrissy go into the trailer, Adira and I were talking for a while and then something else happened..."

Flashback
Adira and Maxine had stopped talking as soon as the lights began to flash around the whole house. They walked into the loungeroom and the sound of white noise was buzzing from the tv, "what the fuck?" Adira muttered out. Adira and max looked around the house, watching all of the lights suddenly just stop flickering, the tv went back to normal and it were as if nothing had happened

Suddenly, they heard Eddie screaming loudly and they rushed over to the window. Maxine grabbed the rough fabric of the curtain and held it out of the way while the two of them peered out across the road.

Eddie came running out of his caravan and jumped into his van quickly before turning on the ignition and driving away. He looked absolutely terrified, like he had seen a ghost or something.

Adira and Maxine watched with wide eyes, "what the hell just happened?" She choked out and stood up, making her way over to the door

"Wait, where are you going?" Max quickly asked her in confusion

"I'm going over there to see if I can see anything. Chrissy didn't come out with him, I need to check that she is okay," Adira explained to max

"She probably just left before," Maxine tried to think, "do you think Eddie did something to her?" Maxine asked in confusion

"I don't think Eddie would hurt her, but I just need to go and check," Adira explained to Maxine before pulling the door open and running over to the caravan across the street. She knocked a few times but there was no reply so she tried to open the door but it was locked, "hello? Chris, you still in there?"

Still no reply.

She tried to look through the curtains but she couldn't see anything. Max came up next to her, "I'm sure everything is fine, Eddie was probably just on something," max said and wrapped her arm around Adiras arm, "let's go back, it's cold out here..."

"Yeah, you're probably right," Adira muttered out, trying to push the sick and worried feeling in her gut away as they walked back to Maxine's house
