"They both were having headaches. Bad headaches that just wouldn't go away, and then... and then the nightmares, trouble sleeping and then you wake up in a cold sweat. And then they started seeing things," Max said to them all, "bad things from the past."

"Things that you want to forget about, or good things that have happened, but the nightmares turned the good memories, bad..." Adira explained and it was at that moment that they realised that Adira and Maxine had also both been experiencing these things

"And these visions, they just kept on getting worse and worse," Max explained, shaking slightly, "until... eventually... it all stopped."

"And everything ends." Adira stated firmly, running her finger down the bridge of her nose to calm herself down

"Vecnas curse," Robin concluded. She looked over at Adira and felt her heart drop, the look on the short brunettes face told Robin everything... everything that she didn't want to believe

"Chrissy's headaches started a week ago," Maxine explained, "Fred, six days ago," Maxine said. The teens couldn't believe it, they knew what they were about to hear next... that Maxine and Adira had also both been having these headaches, "I have been having them for 5 days," Max admitted

Steve turned to look at his sister, "and what about you? How long have you been having these headaches for?" Steve asked her, his voice breaking a few times as he looked over at his sister, fear consuming his face. He hopped that they had only just started so that they could have more time to try and save her, so that they could figure this stupid thing out before she turned out like Fred and Chrissy.

"8 days," Adira admitted, realising that she had been having them for the longest out of all the people they knew so far, "I don't know his long Max or I have left. All I really know is that, for Fred and Chrissy..." her voice getting lower, "they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision."

"And I just saw that goddamn clock so..." Maxine muttered out, waving her arms around in frustration and sadness, "it looks like I'm going to die tomorrow."

"but I've been having mine for about 40 hours now... I started having them a day before Chrissy and I even saw the same one Chrissy was seeing at the same time as her..." Adira looked over at Eddie, "when the Chrissy and I went to meet Eddie in the woods for some weed, we both saw the stupid clock in a tree... there were spiders pouring out of it."

"I didn't think too much of it at first because I always imagine things... but these ones are different, they're more sinister and connected in a way," Adira muttered out truthfully, she turned to max with a hopeful expression, "maybe we still have time... you know since I've been having them for more than 24 hours."

"Still have time? Are you kidding me? You're about to die and there's nothing we can do about it," Eddie yelled out, grabbing at his hair in fear and frustration. He wasn't ready to lose her, he had to find a way to save her, even if it meant putting his own life on the line, "why the hell is this shit happening, and why to you! You've done nothing to deserve this."

"Munson is right! And how the hell could you have gone this long without telling me this, you should have told me as soon as it started happening," Steve yelled at his sister, throwing his arms around in anger, "I thought we agreed that we were gonna tell each other when shit like this happens."

"Well sorry mum," Adira replied sarcastically, "but I didn't exactly want you to think that I was crazy and have you try to send me to the stupid asshole doctor and the shrinks like mum used to fucking to do me!"

Steve and Adira fell silent, neither of them knowing what to say to each other after that

"You know that I wouldn't do that!" Steve explained to her, an aching pain reverberated through his chest as he remembered her screams and cries as their mother would drag the young girl out to the car to take her to the doctor that she always went to see

"Whatever Steve," Adira muttered out with a scoff

"Don't use that tone w-" there was suddenly a loud clang from somewhere in the school. Everyone stopped talking and quickly turned to face the open door

"Stay here," Adira and Steve both muttered out to the group before making there way over to the door. Eddie watched Adira walk out the door and quickly followed after them, he wasn't going to let her go out there with only Steve, he knew Steve could protect her better than he could, but he still wanted to be there as some form of protection

Steve grabbed a lamp off the wall while Adira pulled her butterfly knife out of her pocket and flipped it around a few times before clutching the handles tightly in her hand 

Eddie pulled out his switch blade and the three of them began to walk through the hallways of the school carefully and quietly. Steve was in front, then Adira, and then Eddie, but it didn't take long for the rest of the gang to come out of the room and follow after them

There was another loud thump, then suddenly someone ran out from a hallway Steve raised the lamp and went to swing it at the person but Adira was quickly able to recognise the person and shoved her brother to the side so he didn't hit Lucas with the lamp.

"Lucas!" Adira cheered loudly, happy to see the younger boy

"It's me! It's me!" Lucas cried out as the others were still screaming in shock whist Adira threw her arms around the boy, obviously happy to see him. Lucas wrapped his arms around the girl, thankful to see her

"What the hell is wrong with you, you idiot!" Steve cursed at the boy, still scared considering he had expected it to be Vecna

"I'm sorry," Lucas said as he looked at Steve from over Adiras shoulder, he had obviously been doing a lot of running and bike riding because he was breathing heavily and shaking in Adiras arms

"I could have taken you out with this lamp!" Steve exclaimed angrily as he shook the lamp around. Adira let go of Lucas and walked over to her brother, taking the lamp of him and dropping it on the ground before patting her brother on the chest

"It's all good now Stevie, you did a good job being the protective momma bead of the group," Adira joked with him, giggling at her brother softly

"Sorry guys, I was biking for like eight miles!" Lucas choked out, leaning forward slightly as she tried to catch her breath. He put his finger out towards them too Tell them to just wait a second, "just give me a second. Shit!" He groaned out as he tried to calm down, "we have got a code red."

"What?" Steve asked him in confusion

Lucas walked over to Dustin, "Dustin, I have been with Jason, Patrick, and Andy, and the three of them have gone totally off the rails!" Lucas explained

"Well no surprise there, the three of them are major psychotic assholes," Adira said and rolled her eyes, "you should have seen the four of those losers a few weeks ago lose their shit at an after party when George bought the wrong beer," Adira muttered out

"They are trying to capture Eddie, and they are thinking that you know where he is!" Lucas exclaimed and then Eddie suddenly stepped out of the shadows  near the wall, Lucas saw him and his face dropped, "which you clearly do."

Adira stood in front of Eddie, "Eddie is innocent, he didn't kill Chris," Adira said firmly and Lucas nodded his head, also knowing that Eddie Munson wouldn't ever kill someone

"I know there Addy, they are after you too! They think it's suspicious that you haven't been seen since Chrissy died, and someone told Jason that they saw you and Eddie outside during the pep rally, he thinks you and Eddie worked together to kill Chrissy," Lucas told her. She stared at him in shock... how could someone even think that Adira had something to do with the murder of Chrissy

"To be fair tho, the other boys all stood up for you and tried to tell him that you would never help kill Chrissy, he's just gone on a tear now," Lucas explained to her. Adira nodded her head, she actually felt bad for Jason, she knew that he loved Chrissy and he would be hurting a lot right now, he was trying to avenge Chrissy which Adira was actually great full for, but he was going about it the wrong way, he was going after Eddie without any solid proof that he had done anything.

"You're all in deep deep shit," Lucas explained, looking between Eddie, Dustin and Adira

"Alright yeah, that definitely sucks," Dustin muttered out, nodding his head softly, "but we have got bigger problems than Jason right now."
