Justin's POV

I opened the fridge this hotel suite offered to find nothing, and my stomach was growling at me to eat something. I had a snack earlier, during my flight, but I haven't had an actual meal yet.

"Babe, Im hungry." I whined as I went to the room where Hailey was just settling in. "Wanna go grab something to eat?" I asked her.

"I'm tired." She said as she laid down under the covers.

"Come with me, we don't have to actually go out. I think downstairs they have a food place." I suggested.

"You go." she whined, "I'm really tired." she said. I know i had to be understanding, she just flew here to join me on tour, right after doing a gig of her own work, to keep me company.

I sighed and asked, "Fine. You want me to bring you anything?"

"No. Im fine."

I nodded and grabbed my key before I headed down to the lobby. I walked around, taking a good look at my surroundings and trying to find the spot I had seen earlier, and praying that it was still open. I can't stress how starving I am.

Thankfully, I found it and it was still open. A few people were here actually.

It was cozy little place. They had some nice burritos, almost similar to the chipotle ones, and thats what i ordered myself. Now I was just waiting for them to give me my stuff.

I pulled up my hoodie and crossed my arms as I watched them prepare the order of the guy in front of me.

Someone else walked in and began ordering.

"Ill have that but, no onions, no pickles and no mayo please." The feminine voice said, meanwhile i thought to myself, you have to be kidding me. This cant be real.

"Is that all m'am?" The young man at the box asked her, meanwhile I attempted to get a look at the woman standing next to me from the corner of my eye.

"Yes." she said.

What is she doing here?

"That it'll be 13.56." The guy said, and she began to look through the tote bag she had been carrying with her.

"Crap." She mumbled to herself. "Is there anyway you can charge it to my room?" She asked. "Im so stupid, I grabbed the wrong bag and left my wallet upstairs." She explained.

"Im sorry m'am. Im not allowed to do that." The guy said.

She sighed and asked "Well, um... at what time do you guys close?" she asked.

"Were open 24 hours."

"Okay. Ill just go grab my bag and come back later." she said.

Before she had the chance to walk away, without thinking, I pulled out my wallet and said "I'll cover her." to the guy.

"Okay... that'll be 13.56 sir."

I slid my car on the machine and put in my security code before the payment went through.

"Thank you..." She said quietly, trying to get a look at my face.

"Don't worry about it." I said, looking her way so she could look at my face.

She widened her eyes and nervously pushed a strand of hair behind her ear before going silent. She looked away and waited for her order quietly, keeping space between us.

There was a lot of tension between us, probably everyone in the room could feel it.

I was nervous too, my heart felt as if it wanted to beat off my chest, I wonder if she can hear it.
