A principal's obsession

chap 8 - principal's office

Meredith's POV:
As I make my way down to the office my heart started to race. I just couldn't think on what I was getting called into the office for.

I walked into the main office and then went to Ms. Montgomery's door and knocked.

"Come in please!" She yelled from inside.

I walked in and she had her legs crossed leaning back in her chair with her glasses slightly down on the tip of her nose looking down at a paper. "Shut the door," she said still looking at the paper.

I shut the door and sat down in the chair right in front of her desk. It's been about a whole minute and I'm starting to get uncomfortable. She hasn't said anything. She's just looking at the paper.

Finally she sits up straight and puts the paper down on the desk and slides her glasses off.

"It looks like today is your only time being late. You have perfect attendance since the start of school until today and also last year you didn't miss one day of school. So why today?" She spoke.

"Um I don't Know," I say.

"Give me more than that," she says tilting her head.

"Do I need to call your mother to?" She asked.

"Um. No ma'am. She's always in surgery she doesn't have time to come up to the school," I say.

"Well it's your best bet to tell me why you were late," she said as she stood up and walked around her desk and sat slightly on top of it with her legs crossed.

"Super tired this morning and didn't feel like getting up," I stated.

"So you were tired this morning? Aren't we all?"

"Yeah I guess,"

"I'm going to have to give you after school detention," she said moving back around her desk.

"What? Last year it was only a lunch Dt," I say.

"I don't care how your old principal did it last year but their not here anymore. I do things differently," she said sternly before taking a piece of paper out of her desk drawer. "I expect to see you here after school Ms. grey," she says as she hands me the paper with her signature on it saying that she's the one gave me the detention and the time. It was for 3:15-5:00. That's to long- what in the hell is wrong with this woman?

"Is there a problem?" She asked as she saw my facial expression on my face once I read the time.

"No ma'am," I said.

"Alright you may go back to class,"

"Ugh why do I get so nerves around her? For god sakes she's my principal I shouldn't think like that... but she's so hotttt!!!" I think to myself as I smile walking down the hall way.
