chap 18 - not so what i thought

Meredith's POV:
As I go down stairs to see what the noise was, I cut on all the lights and see that the front door is open. Causing cold air to come inside the house.

"Addie?" I questioned. "Addie are you home? Your scaring me." I questioned again going to the kitchen but stopped once I heard that familiar voice call my name in the living room.

"Oh hi Meredith." She says causing me to turn around.

"What are you doing here!?" I yelled. She was dressed in all black with a knife in her hand.

"Derek told me to come take care of you."

"How do you know Derek?" I asked her.

"Oh Meredith there is a lot of things you don't know about me." She starts as she walks closer to me. "For starters on how I pretended to be your girlfriend."

"What are you talking about Arizona?"

"How about less talking from you." She says I try to make a run for it but she grabs my wrist and pulls me toward the living room but I refuse to let her.

She literally drags me into the living room and pushed me down on the couch.

"If you try anything I swear to god I will end you right here."

"Now tell me. Meredith. What was I to you? Your sleeping with the principal and just screwing around with me? Did I really mean nothing to you?"

"Arizona I-."

"Shut up!" She yells with anger in her voice. "Answer the question."

"You-." I try again but she cuts me off.

"I said shut up!" She yells. What the fuck did she want me to do? Answer the question or shut up?

I gulped and looked at her. She Climbed on top of my lap and place the knife to my neck.

"I miss you Meredith." She whispers as she leans her lips inches away from mine. But for they could even meet her phone starts ringing. She looks over where she left her phone and I used that as an escape to throw her off of me and she hits the floor causing the knife to go across the floor. We both eyed the knife. I ran to it but she grabbed my foot pulling me down to her level. I rolled over on my back and she's now hovering on top of me as I try to kick her off. She slaps me, but I keep kicking.

Eventually, one of my kicks worked and she got weak and fell backwards. Just enough time for me to grabbed the knife and stand to my feet.

I held the knife out pointing at her trying to protect myself as I walked backwards slowly backing away from her as she stood on her feet slowly.

"Oh Meredith. Are you really going to use that? Hm?"

"If I have to!" I say. Her phone starts ringing again and she picks it up.

"Oh hi Derek!" She says into the phone. I make a run for up stairs. "Oh no you don't." She says dropping the phone and running after me.
