Chap 16 - just paranoid

Meredith's POV:
It's been a month since the whole Derek thing. it kind of creeped me out, Addison made me promised to not go anywhere without her. Which is wired to.

I've been still staying with her and it's been a week since Alex sorta of kinda of found out about me and Addison. Which he freaked out about and told Arizona. Now Arizona is mad at me and isn't answering any of my phone calls or text messages. I'm afraid that she might tell someone.

Anyways,

It's Saturday night and I'm home alone. Addison hasn't came home yet and I'm thinking of the worst case scenario. What if Derek got to her? Or maybe she's just late. She said she had some kind of meeting to before she left this morning. Now it's almost midnight, kind of worried. I tried calling several times but no answer.

I decided to go take a shower and maybe she'll be home once I'm out.

As I get in the shower I felt like someone was watching me. I cleared the foggy class door with my hand but didn't see anyone.

After the shower Addison still wasn't home. I started hearing noises in the house as I closed the door to my room. I just shook the crazy idea that someone could be in the house and just thought I was paranoid.

I grabbed my phone from my night stand and saw I got a text from Addison.

"Hey meeting's running late. I'll be home soon."

I sighed in relief that she was ok and got in the bed underneath the covers.

Remember I said I thought I was just paranoid? Well I don't think so once I heard loud noises coming from down stairs.
