THIRD POV

"Mikael, darling, it's time to wake up." A soft voice spoke up and the sound traveled to Mikael's ears, a small smile finding its way up to his face as he slowly woke up from his sleep.

The two lovers spend last night close together, laying and holding each other. Ayana comforted Mikael as he mourned, reassured and distracted him from the mess his head was in.

Back in bed he could feel her touch traveling the lenght of his back, the small kisses she left on his shoulders and the way she had a smile on her face.

"I know you are awake my love." Ayana chuckled and traced her fingers all the way from his lower back to his neck, threading her fingers through his hair and earning a satisfied sigh from him.

Mikael let out a tired hum, tightening his hold on the pillow as he laid on his stomach, only moving to throw his other hand over Ayana's waist and pulling her closer against his side.

"We have things to do." She said with a soft amused voice.

Mikael let out a quiet groan and turned to his other side so he could see her. He kept holding her against him, loving the way they fit together like he always did.

In an instant a smile rose to his lips again as he took her beauty in.

"How did I get so lucky?" A genuine quiet whisper escaped his lips as he reached out a hand, tucking a strand of hair behind Ayana's ear. He cupped her cheek, stroking her cheekbone with his thumb.

Ayana looked at him with a loving smile, taking a hold of his hand and turning her head to kiss his palm.

"Flattery doesn't help you at the moment Mister, you still need to get up." Ayana gave him a small grin, chuckling as Mikael rolled his eyes and leaned in to give her a kiss.

"A man can always hope." Mikael said amused.

Ayana laughed and answered his kiss, putting her hands around his neck.

The passionate kiss lasted for a while before Ayana pulled away and with her eyes closed pushed her forehead against his, a content sigh leaving her lips as both of them took a moment to enjoy before the upcoming day.

"I love you." Ayana was the one to whisper the words.

The smile on Mikael's face didn't disappear as he softly rubbed his nose against her nose.

"I love you too."

Mikael wiped his hand over the fogged mirror, watching the reflection of his body with a slightly tilted head.

After finally getting enough energy to get up from the bed, Mikael took a shower and Ayana left to make breakfast for everyone.

As he took the small details around his body in, he felt good. He was fully comfortable in his body nowdays, even with the scars that had started to slowly fade.

With a small shake of his head Mikael reached out and took a towel, swiping it in his hair a few times before wrapping it around his waist and exiting the bathroom.

"I'm sorry for barging in so early, but Ayana let me in and said you were-"

Ansel's words died on his throat as he turned around to look at Mikael, only to see him standing there with only a towel around his lower region, which clearly showed the rest of his body, his hair slightly wet and his hands on his hips.

'Oh dear lord-'

Every fiber on Ansel's body screamed for him to turn around to give the gorgeous man in front of him some decency, but he couldn't help it. He was glued to the spot.
