A soft pop filled the hallway then another and a muffled scream pierced the air as the group raced down the hallway. "Holy Shit," Blade gasped as he and Ninja entered the room.

"Shhh, shhhh," Grumpy said softly as he shoved the dead man off Eve and walked over to her. "It's okay Baby, it's okay, he can't hurt you anymore."

"Don't touch her anymore Grumpy," Doc said as he tried to take everything in. "We need to report this."

"What?" He glared at Doc.

"We have to report this so it's a justifiable murder," Doc tried to explain.

"Fine," He glared then turned to her, "I'm so sorry."

"Sheriff's on his way," Fang said as he hung up his phone. "I'm sorry Eve but we will get you out of here as soon as we can."

"Oh shit," Sheriff said as he walked into the room. "I don't think I need to ask any questions on what happened here."

"Can I remove the gag please Sheriff?" Doc asked and the sheriff sighed.

"Miss, I'm sorry but I have to take pictures first for documentation," He said as the tears kept sliding down her face. "Is it safe to assume the body was moved?"

"I shoved him off her," Grumpy nodded.

"Okay," He said as he took pictures then nodded. "Get her to the hospital, Dr. Green. I will speak with her as soon as I'm done here. I just need to ask her one thing first."

Doc removed the gag as Coffee came back into the room with a glass of water and straw. "Easy Eve, small sips," He whispered.

"Ma'am?" The sheriff asked when Coffee pulled the cup away once she was done. "Do you know who the man was?"

"My husband," She whispered as she tried to cover herself as Doc undid the ropes that held her spread eagle. One of the men handed him a blanket and he covered her body. "This isn't the first time he's done this. I have reported him multiple times," She sniffled. "I swear there's reports of him hurting me. He wouldn't divorce me, he said he would kill me before he let me go."

"That's enough," He nodded as he wrote it down. "I'll handle all this."

"I don't feel..." She murmured as she threw up. "Sorry."

"Get her out of here," the sheriff said as he stepped to the side while Doc gently scooped her up bridal style. "I'll meet you there later for more information."

"Thanks," Doc said as the group started to follow him.

"I gave him two shots," Grumpy said before he left the room. "The door was already opened when we got here."

"Okay," Sheriff Walters said as he wrote it down in his little notebook.

"Sorry you have to leave your bike," She whispered as he gently placed her in her car.

"It's just a bike," Doc said shaking his head. "One of the guys will come back to get it later. I'm more worried about you."

"I'm so sorry," She cried as he pulled out onto the road.

"I'm sorry we didn't get here sooner," He said softly.

"You came," She sniffled. "You came."

"We always will," he said softly. "We will be there for you whenever you need us." He reached out to hold her hand but nodded when she flinched away.

"I'm sorry," She whispered.

"I understand," he said gently. "It's perfectly reasonable. I have a feeling Einstein will have his mother waiting for us at the hospital. She is a nurse and will stay by your side when I do everything I need to do for the sheriff."

"Can...ca..." She sniffled.

"I will have her do everything and just stand to the side," He smiled in understanding. "I will just put my name on all the paperwork."

"Thank you," She sighed in relief.

He pulled up to the hospital and turned off the car. "The woman walking to us is Einstein's mother, Momma Erica."

He got out of the car and walked over to her side then opened the door. "Hello Sean," Erica said softly, and Eve looked at him shocked making Erica chuckle. "I can gladly give you all their actual names Dear, come on get in your chariot," she said softly as she helped Eve into the wheelchair. "We are going to take the back way so no one will bother us."

Erica explained everything before she was going to do something, and Doc kept his word remaining on the side of the room while Erica did the procedures. The rest of the group remained outside waiting for everything to be done.
