Eve sighed as she turned off the open sign and started counting down her register. "Tired, Cupcake?" Luke asked as he watched her.
"Yeah," she mumbled. "I know I said I would come over but—"
"If you just want to go home, it's okay, Eve," Luke smiled softly. "After everything you've been through, it's understandable if you need some time alone. Let me send everyone a text then I will take you home, okay? It's fine, I promise."
"Thank you," She smiled softly as she finished up what she was doing. "I appreciate it."
Luke shut his phone and slid it into his vest, "Let's go, Fairy. Time to get you home and into bed." He slid his arm around her.
"I need to take this to the bank first and deposit it," she shook her head.
"Write everything down and I'll handle it," Kota said as he walked in.
"Einstein?" She asked confused.
"I need to take ours as well," he said holding up a bank bag. "Go home and rest."
"Okay," She nodded as she wrote some stuff down then handed him everything, "thank you."
"No problem," he chuckled as he took it from her. "Get some sleep. We'll see you in the morning if that is okay with you."
"Okay," She nodded as she hugged him then once they were outside, she locked up before following Luke to his bike. Luke pulled up to her house and she handed him the helmet, "Thanks, Ninja."
"Always, Little Fairy," he smirked as she kissed his cheek then watched as she headed inside.
Eve fixed a tumbler of hot chocolate then headed to her room. She got comfortable, turned on the TV then opened her nightstand drawer. She pulled out her journal and began writing. Just as she finished writing she heard a noise outside her bedroom window. Quickly dropping her journal into the drawer, she grabbed her phone.
"Hey Little Fairy," Luke chuckled, "miss me already?"
"Someone's outside my house," she whispered as she got out of bed and tried not to panic.
"That's just Gunner and Grumpy," Luke sighed rolling his eyes. "They needed to see for themselves that you were safe and sound in your little fairy house."
"Fucking idiots," she sighed in annoyance. "Almost gave me a freaking heart attack," she mumbled as she opened her front door. "Get your asses in here and quit fucking scaring me, you assholes."
"Sorry, Kitten," Raven said as he came around the corner.
"Sorry, Baby," North mumbled as he came around the other side.
"Just get in and shut up," she rolled her eyes. "So much for me trying to have some space."
"We just needed to see that you are okay," North tried to explain.
"Fine," She huffed, "you can see that I'm fine, so go home and quit being creepy peeping toms and scaring me."
"Nyet stay?" Raven asked and she shook her head.
"Nyet," She glared, "you scared me instead of just knocking and seeing like normal fiancés that I am fine. So no, you don't get to stay. Go home and you will see me tomorrow morning unless you piss me off or scare me again."
"Sorry," They both mumbled and walked over to their bikes.
"Damn Little Fairy, that was hot as hell," Luke chuckled into the phone.
"Good night, Ninja," She rolled her eyes and hung up cutting off him asking if he could come over. "Stupid freaking idiots."
"Hello Darling," Owen said as he locked up the bar, "everything okay?"
"No, everything is not okay, Diablo," she huffed in annoyance. "Ever since Gunner and Grumpy scared the shit out of me being peeping toms, I keep hearing shit. I'm exhausted, I'm cranky, and I'm scared. Come reassure me I'm just tripping and hearing things, NOW!"
"Yes Ma'am," he chuckled as he grabbed his bike keys, "And I'll make sure Gunner and Grumpy learn their lesson." North and Raven looked up at him confused and worried.
"Uh oh," Luke chuckled. "You're in for it now."
"Prez?" North asked as Owen headed for the door.
"Not a word," he said as he walked out the door.
"Shit," both Raven and North muttered as they headed to their bikes, dreading what Owen was going to do to them when he got back.
"Come on Darling," Owen said as she tried to get comfortable yet again, "let's go."
"Huh?" She mumbled into his chest.
"You are restless and no matter how many times I search the house you can't ease your mind," he chuckled as he sat up, making her sit up. "We're going home, you can sleep in my room and I'll crash with Doc. You know you will feel better once you get out of here."
"But it's my home," She pouted.
"It is," he nodded as he pushed her hair out of her face. "I'll make it safe again and I'll make sure Gunner and Grumpy get proper punishment for being idiots."
"Okay," She yawned and rubbed her eyes.
"Get dressed and pack your things," he said as he grabbed his cut off the back of her vanity chair.
"Hey Little Fairy," Silas smiled as she walked into the mansion holding Owen's hand.
"We're so sorry," North and Raven apologized and she shook her head.
"Straight to bed, Little Fairy," Owen said gently pulled her to his room. "It's way past your bedtime and you need your sleep." She nodded as she headed to the bathroom. When she came back out in shorts and her goddess shirt, Owen inhaled softly then said, "Doc's room is right next door and the library is on the other side if you need us."
"Okay," She whispered then got in his bed.
"Sleep well, Darling," he said as he covered her up and kissed her forehead.
A couple of hours later, both Sean and Owen heard Sean's door open. They remained still as their little fairy crawled over Owen and wedged herself between them. Once she was asleep they both kissed her head, wrapped their arms around her, then fell asleep with smiles on their lips.
