chapter 13 - Gold Bodies

     Sitting in front of her vanity, Seren put the finishing touches on her hair. She had braided her white hair in a crown around her head and had opted for minimal makeup. She wanted the attention focused on her dress. She had pulled it out of the back of her closet, and she thought it suited the Day Court perfectly. The sleeves and skirt were flowy and fell off her body in graceful lines. The bodice was cut very low and she was just hoping the dress didn't fall off her. Silver detailing outlined the whole dress, which was made in a beautiful gold fabric.

     Amren burst into her room, "Seren I'm having a really big problem. Which earrings should I wear with this dress?"

     The girls spent the next twenty minutes debating on what earrings were the best for Amren to wear and they finally settled on ones with sparkling emeralds. They left the room and followed the instructions Leo had given them on how to get to the party. After walking down three long hallways they arrived in what Seren assumed was the throne room. She barely held in a gasp as she took in the room. There were all different types of fae dancing with only gold paint covering their bodies around the room. Amren smirked slightly, "I think I'm going to like this party."

     She walked away, leaving Seren alone. Seren walked through the crowd, searching for any type of alcohol. She finally caught sight of a waiter carrying a tray of champagne and started making her way over to him. Before she could reach him though, a male dressed in a black suit stepped in front of her. Instead of looking at alcohol, she was now faced with a male's chest. She glanced up and confirmed that it was, in fact, Rhys. "Fabulous party, is it not darling?" he said.

     Seren looked back over to the dancers, "Well, I've never been to a party like this before. And you just got in the way of me and some champagne."

     "Here," Rhys said as he handed her a glass of champagne.

     Seren looked at him, "How did you get this?"

     Rhys winked at her, "Remember, I have an invisible closet. Enjoy the rest of your evening."

     As he walked away, she sighed and leant up against a pillar. She sipped her champagne when Helion walked up to her, "If anyone hasn't told you already, you look beautiful tonight."

     Seren laughed, "Thank you and for the record, you are the first person to tell me that."

     "Well, your dress is stunning."

     Helion was wearing a pale gold suit. "Well, your suit is also stunning," Seren smiled.

     In response, Helion grabbed her hand and began tugging her toward the dance floor. Seren tripped and almost fell flat on her face, "Woah, easy dude. Slow down."

     Helion and Seren spent the next couple of hours jumping around to the music and having the time of their lives. Seren was having so much fun that she lost track of time. The DJ had immaculate taste which really made the experience so much better. Eventually, Helion stopped and nodded over to a table with water on it, "Do you want a drink?"

     Seren nodded and they walked over to get water. They both didn't realize how thirsty they were and gulped down several cups of water. Helion asked, "So what do you want to do with the rest of your night?"
Seren shrugged, "I honestly don't know. What are you going to do?"

     "Well, we could go back to my room."

     Seren was conflicted. Although she thought he was super attractive and funny, she only viewed him as a friend. As if following her train of thought Helion added, "I'm not looking for anything serious. We both have duties to different Courts, this is just for fun."

     That settled it and Seren said, "Then sure, lead the way."
   
     Helion grabbed her hand and led her out of the throne room. Right before exiting the room, Seren caught Amren's eye. Amren was looking over her wine glass at her and Helion. She looked between the two of them before giving Seren a thumbs up. Seren laughed and followed Helion out of the room.
   
     Through a maze of hallways, they finally arrived at Helion's room. He opened the door and they both walked inside. Helion looked down at her, "I just want you to know that at any time you want to stop, just tell me. No judgment or questions asked."
   
     Seren smiled and stepped up to him. She grasped onto his neck and pulled him down. Helion kissed her with such a passion that he took her breath away. After several long moments of kissing him, Seren couldn't stand it any longer. She reached up, fumbling with his tie. She eventually got it undone as Helion moved his mouth down to her neck. As he reached that sweet spot under her ear, Seren moaned imagining what his mouth was capable of doing on other parts of her body.
   
     He shrugged out of his suit jacket and dropped it to the floor. Threading his fingers through her hair and tugging slightly, her neck was pulled to the side. Seren unbuttoned his shirt and unbuckled Helion's belt before his hands stopped her. He broke away from her as he pushed her dress down to her waist. His hands came up to her breasts, rolling his thumbs over her nipples. He then dragged his hands down the rest of her and pushed her dress all the way off.
   
     Seren stood completely bare in front of him, only wearing a thong. She grabbed the edges of his shirt and pulled him back until her knees hit the edge of her bed. She fell back and propped herself up on her elbows as Helion threw off his shirt, kicked his shoes off, and pushed down his pants. And holy hell, he was big.
   
     Before Seren could react, he dropped to his knees, grabbed her hips, and tugged her to the edge of the bed. Pushing her thong to the side, he slid a finger through her. Seren groaned and her head fell back onto the bed. Helion grabbed her legs and pushed them over his shoulders as he got to work on his pussy. Seren grabbed the bedsheets, "Oh god, keep going."
