"I know you guys aren't human and stuff," April put a hand on her hip, "but don't you guys do anything for fun?"
"Well, I do tarot readings. I love the idea and philosophy of connecting with the Earth's spiritual world. It's a natural gift some Sarchagelians possess, and I am one of them."
"Is that how you were able to figure out just how much mental turmoil I was and still am going through?" Maya said all in one breath. Mikey gave her a worried puppy look. "Kidding! Kind of."
"Yes. Your brain Maya...it's a nightmarish labyrinth, to say the least." Jophiel fished through her silver backpack and handed Maya a velvet pouch. "Maybe use these. They'll help. The moonstone will clear your mind, the opal will soak up any negative emotion, blue lace agate for anxiety and rose quartz for self love."
Maya looked at the rocks in the palm of her hand. They were smooth to the touch. "I want to eat them."
"You don't want to do that," Raziel said, running his pendant across his necklace. "You'll probably break your organs."
"How do you know that?" Casey asked.
"How do you think?" Raziel's ears went bright red underneath his shaggy hair.
Donnie tried his best to block out the idiotic conversation being relayed in front of him. "What do you like, Raziel?"
Raziel's half lidded eyes shot open. A scary smile played across his lips, but there was no malice. It was just how his face looked. His eyes were softened and closed happily. "I like rocks, as you know. And I like cuboid objects; metal ones and Rubik's cubes. I also love bismuth: the angular shapes of the rock are beautiful."
Raziel moved to the floor and zipped his backpack open with one swift motion. Filled to the brim, and weighing down the essentials were a plethora of rocks and cubes. The rocks weren't colorful like the minerals his sister possessed, but variations of grays, browns and blacks. Different shapes, too. Some were flat and smooth, and others were so jagged it looked like it would hurt to touch.
A significantly larger squared funnel-like object in the color of a rainbow gradient was the bismuth, which Raziel was holding in his hands joyfully. The gray eyes he owned were glimmering like freshly polished diamond.
"I like this bismuth. I got it from Earth." Raziel held his treasure to Donatello, who bent down and carefully observed it.
"It's incredible, Zi! And your sediment collection is quite impressive as well!"
