Two large Salamandrian aliens were very unhappy to meet their saboteurs. The feminine one dawned in teal armor was particularly fired up, wielding her blade in preparation for battle. Leo had made the unfortunate mistake of using the human custom of extending his hand, a symbol for combat in the salamanders' eyes. Now they were getting their keisters handed to them.

"Oh, you're gonna get it now!" Maya exclaimed, and was promptly knocked back by G'Throkka. "Oof! Dude, your skin is like iron!"

"Maya are you-whoa!" Mikey was thrown down by G'Throkka as well. "Ow. I'm okay! Agh, no I'm not."

"Hey! Pick on someone your own size, Sally! Leave my boyfriend alone!"

Maya was fuming. She leapt onto the commander and began to attack. It seemed she almost had the upper hand, but her blinding rage got her slammed to the ground.

"Maya!" Jophiel looked tense. Should we transform? She thought to herself. It's too risky. They can win, I know it. "Back off!" Due to their reluctance to use their full potential, the twins were beaten down in a swift motion.

Raphael was finally tired of seeing his friends lose. "Okay, that's it. You're going down, lady!"

With his weapons in hand, Raph charged towards the Salamandrian. Y'gythgba, the name of the Salamandrian, readied her stance and took down Raphael.

Raph grabbed his head while on the ground. "Whoa... I've never been hit like that before. It was kinda nice."

"What?! Dude, you're tripping." Maya got up and held her stomach. "Is that all you've got, you amphibious freaks? Wait, I can't talk. I was literally a fish for half a year."

"Focus, Miss Nakamura!" Fugitoid had his hands extended in front of Iris, who was huddled near Leo. "I thought we could resolve this dilemma peacefully, but it seems I'll have to use force."

A few blasts later and the turtles and friends were trapped beneath ice. The Salamandrians had escaped to get the irrilium for themselves. Fugitoid and twins helped everyone else out of the ice.

"That was so embarrassing, guys." Maya shook her head.

"We need to get to that irrilium fast. We don't have much heat and oxygen left."

"That's reassuring." Mikey said sarcastically.

As the teenagers trekked to find the irrilium before the aliens, Raphael was having mixed feelings about his fight with the Salamandrian woman. She was almost nothing like Crescent. The one thing the two had in common was that they were both strong. Even then, their strengths came from different places. This alien was physically strong, and Crescent was mentally strong. Why am I even thinking about her? It's been almost two years.

"Something on your mind, Raph?" Iris timidly asked.
