"I'm really tired of saving the world!" Maya sighed, breathing heavily. She chomped off the head of a Triceraton soldier.
"Us too!"
It was now the beginning of the story. They were getting a do-over. A chance to fix the wrong that they failed once. They had all of the pieces of the black hole generator, and Fugitoid was set to destroy his creation once and for all. Now all the turtles and company had to do was ward off the Triceratons and Kraang, as well as prevent Shredder from stabbing fathers through the back.
"Jophiel! Get Iris out of here! It's too dangerous! Donnie, fight back those Triceratons! Zi, get Master Splinter out of harm's way!"
Leo was spouting orders left and right. After sleepless nights of practicing his reciting act, Leo gathered the courage to relive the day, and change the outcome head on.
"What?! No, Leo, please! What's going to happen to the Professor?" Iris flailed in Jophiel's arms belligerently, even though they were in mid air. Their outcries were cut short with an abrupt landing.
"You stay here." Jophiel advised in a low tone, her benevolent nature slowly corroding into a slightly tumultous attitude.
Iris knew better than to disobey, so they sat in the inappropriately colorful room. They presumed that this was Jophiel and Raziel's home, judging by the ghast color scheme that bothered their eyes. They stared at the pixel of a window as Jophiel left them.
They were perturbed at the thought of Honeycutt's fate. He was kind to them, like a father to a child, and although they didn't want to admit it, deep down they knew that they weren't going to see him again. Why? After all that he had done for them? They could think clearly now, they could understand the grandness of the universe. And after all of that, no goodbye. Their large eyes burned, and Iris began weeping in the loud bellowy cries they had done once before.
"Did I miss anything?" Jophiel asked, levitating over Leo.
"No, but it's good that you're here. We're going to need the help."
"Take that!" Maya could be seen foolishly headbutting the giant Triceraton. "Ow! God, I hate you guys!"
"Maya, I wanted to ask you something!" Donnie shouted across, fighting a cretaceous nemesis of his own.
"Not the time, D!"
"Please!"
"Take these guys down first, at least!"
"Done!" In a matter of minutes, the freshly determined Donatello managed to beat down the remaining ten Triceraton aliens. "How do you stay proud?"
"Wow! Wait, what?"
"Maya, I'm gay!"
"WHAT?"
Over on the outskirts of Madison Square, Raphael and Raziel were waiting for the local enemy to ambush.
"Is that the guy?" Raziel asked Raphael.
"Yes. Get him!"
Instantly, Raziel beelined and tackled the armored antagonist. "Run, Splinter-rat guy!"
"What is this?" The mutated rodent looked down at the peculiar scene.
"Ow! Shit, fuck..." Raziel felt a great pain in his abdomen.
"How dare you interfere with my agenda, you pestilent child?"
"Raziel!"
"That hurt."
